The only place i go in happy and leave more happy, owners and employees makes one of the best teams i ever seen, they are not perfect people (no body is) but they do there best to keep every body happy, we have felt the Eid in sanabel, and we had a night that is gonna stay in memory for very long time i really do not regret any penny i paid, am happy there is such a beautifull place where we always can have the best memories with the best people.
Thank you SANABEL for the best party with Tony Eid we really enjoid every moment
Love the lunch buffet. Great food, fresh and tasty. My favorites are falafels and fried tilapia dipped into garlic sauce, spinach with sliced onions, and Mom's salads topped with tahini, baba ganoush, and spicy humus. The sautéed mushrooms and eggplants mixed with jasmine rice, with sliced gyros and charcoled kofta are just too hard to resist. I have never liked potatoes but I do eat a few of the spicy potatoes. One dish that I only had once - the chicken curry, the curry is so tasty that I can just have pita dipped into it. I particularly like the cake with the taste of being baked in honey but not too sweet! The staff are amazing, polite and attentative. The young manager and his Mom always walk around talking to customers when they are not busy cooking or bringing out dishes. Everyone there remembers me very well!
I truly love there food, and there entertainment is lovely. Employees are super nice, I highly recommend this place to anyone that lives in Dallas or coming to visit.
I was just at Sanibel and had the best mushroom Swiss burger I have ever had!!! One of the best burgers ever. Friendly server and great drink specials. I can't wait to try the lunch buffet tomorrow!!!
If you wanna have a great family style nightlife with good food and great music, this is the place to go to! Never been disappointed and Naser is the best!
Party of 9 for an after work decompress. The service was outstanding from the minute we walked in. Our waiter was attentive, informative and catered to our high maintenance table. The food was enjoyable as we opted for family style, combination platters. The Turkish coffee and desert rounded out the meal. Definitely will return.
Went for Saturday brunch and the food was excellent. All you can eat buffet for a decent price. My favorite was the hummus with ground beef and pine nuts with fresh pita chips.

Excellent food and service! The lamb shish kabobs I ordered were tender and flavorful, along with their rice. Finished up with a strong pot of Turkish coffee that my gf had to cut me off from after I drank three cups. 🤣
The Service was excellent the food was Delicious the staff was very kind and respectful very Attentive to our needs the waiter Ali was nice very generous kind he even offer to take our pictures thank you for your wonderful Service
I invited my parents in law for the first time to an Arabic restaurant and they were really happy, the food was amazing and they take care of everything. Definitely we are coming back
Delicious delicious Delicious! Buffet is well worth it and the entire staff was 👍Great! I will be returning with hungry co workers...
Love this place! Hands down the best Mediterranean place in Addison!
One of my favorite place if you want to have lot of time and want to have buffet.
You have ample variety of food choices. I am vegetarian and I get lot of options at this place. Definitely try their roasted cauliflower and potatoes.
You get lot of options of hummus.
So enjoy your lunch buffet.
Unbelievable lunch buffet! I'm a huge fan of Mediterranean food for the freshness and healthy style...and, well, I'm Greek. Sanabels brings it with authenticity. After all, it's a family owned restaurant and the mom runs the kitchen while the sons run the front. So friendly, so delicious and your 7th lunch is free! I'm going tomorrow.
What a gem! The lunch buffet was absolutely amazing! I didn't give a higher rating because let's be real, I'm new to Greek cuisine so do I actually know what I'm talking about? Nah, I don't. But! I had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere seemed authentic with the Hookah and dim, intimate lighting. The buffet was full of everything Greek you could think of - stuffed grape leaves, hummus, lamb, skewers, the works. I wish I spent more time in Addison because they would learn my name.
Wonderful place!. I absolutely love this place! I purchased a voucher through Adpages.com to try them out. Let me tell you, I will be going back on a regular basis! This place has very very authentic Lebanese and Mediterranean food. The decor of the place is very nice. I love that they have belly dancing and live music on the weekends. The Arabic music playing was beautiful. My wife, who is Lebanese, Moroccan, Egyptian, felt like her mother was in the kitchen cooking. We started off on the Kibbe and it was to die for. We both had Gyro plate and absolutely loved them. The owner Frankie is very nice. Will be going there on the regular, and bringing my mother in law!
Amazing Lunch Buffet. Great food and outstanding variety of middle eastern fair. Fresh tabouli, grape leaves and the best Baba ganoush I've ever had on the salad side. The hot dishes were even more amazing! The different vegetable dishes had the most wonderful flavors! The sautéed mushrooms were so packed with flavor you could mistake them for steak. The chicken Chicken tikka again bursting with increadable flavor. Variety and new dishes even for a mederteranian food vet make this lunch buffet a must try! The evening festivities sound fun thou I have no desire to use a hookah, no better than cigarettes kids! But with all this wonderful food for just $10 try the lunch buffet, you'll be glad you did!!!
Sheesha is the real thing here. Not just good compared with the other nasty sheesha places of DFW, it is always well prepared, the coals are actually lit, and the servers know how to check and maintain them. The shawerma and sheesh tawook rocked, too. I looove Sanabels and will definitely be enjoying it AMAP!
Omg!!! Its the best restaurant I ever been in dallas! The owner is so cool and his staffs were amazing! The food was really good , love it , I took my wife and kids there and may I say my wife loved it , so relaxin and classic, my kids are very picky on there food but when we went to sanabels my kids loved the food!
Went here a few months ago for a date night. Thank goodness one of us was able to understand the menu. It is very difficult for someone like me who is not aware of the Mediterranean terms but enjoys the food. What an awesome environmen though. The belly dancing and music was fun and the cocktails were different but very well executed. Was recommended to us by a friend who insisted it would be great and it was. Price was high but we had quite a few drinks and sampled a few more enteeres than most would. Would go again if the occasion would arrise.
Wonderful. In all honesty I have been to quite a few Mediterranean Grill and Hookah lounges in the DFW area and after coming to Sanabels, not a single one is up to par.
Sanabels offers lunch buffet for only 7.99, which is a huge bargain considering that their food is both healthy and delicious. The food is fresh and they always tend to have a lot of variety in changing up the dishes every day. Their chicken kabobs are wonderful and they offer the option of making them for you when you order them (included in the buffet).
The hookah is another reason why this lounge has turned into a second home for me. This is the only hookah lounge in the metroplex that offers good delicious hookah for a relatively cheap price. Sanabels uses social smoke hoses, which makes the smoke quantity more generous. This is the only hookah lounge that I know that uses this type of hoses (others settle for the crappy metal tip hoses where you can get barely smoke). The last reason why the hookah's are the best at Sanabels is because they have specialized double apple hookah's. The reason why they do this is because of ghosting of the hookah, meaning that the more you smoke the same flavor on the hookah, the more it will taste like that flavor.
The best hookah/ Mediterranean experience you can ask for! Highly recommended.
The "hostess with the mostess !!" Sanabels is wonderful! Everything is amazing. The food is delicious, the interior is beautiful and relaxing and the staff knows the menu. Sanabel herself brought her favorite desert for me to try when we went there for my birthday meal. It was exquisite. I have only been able to go back once so far,but I still have hankering for the babaganoush
Classiest Hookah Lounge in Dallas. Omg. I've been to every hookah place in Dallas and nothing compares to Sanabel. The ambiance in this place is incredible. The service was excellent and everyone was so nice. A couple of my friends went last night and we had a great time. The interior of the Resturant is absolutly amazing. The owners even gave us a complementray kunafa for our table. Will definitly be coming back and letting everyone know about this place.
Great hookahs and greater service. Unlike most hookah places where I'm from, the staff was very attentive to our needs and requests. They also appeared to enjoy working there, which means that the work environment must be positive as well.
We didn't have to ask for more coals or refills. The music wasn't obnoxiously loud, nor was it one cd on repeat. The actual decor of Sanabel's is very true to the culture with a striking balance between visual aesthetics and comfort. They also have the option to have a personal party in their back room, which has its own sound system so the music in there could be different from the rest of the place. I think that'd be pretty cool to check out, and when I do I'll put up a review around that.
On to the main course, hookahs. There are two types of hookahs. The first is the regular ones with tobacco. While their flavor selection might not appear to be as large as some of the other places, they don't have the nonsense flavors. Who orders cappuccino or arabic coffee flavored hookahs? Nobody. You won't find that stuff on their list. Instead, you'll see some of the newer flavors available as well as some of the classics. The second type of hookah is a tobacco and nicotine free kind. It uses rocks soaked in a syrup solution, so when you smoke, you are exhaling steam, not actual smoke. At first, the flavor started off lighter than the hookah, but then it really set in. It tasted better than the tobacco hookahs, didn't burn or taste burnt, and outlasted the other by a great deal. As someone who has smoked hookahs for several years and has extensive knowledge about them, these new based steam hookahs are highly recommended. They smoke so much lighter than regular hookahs that the tobacco ones end up feeling heavy. Lastly, for anyone worried about germs they carry disposable hoses, just call in advance to make sure they have them in stock because it's a pretty popular item.
I say go. Check it out if you're even the slightest bit curious. If you experience it even once, I'm sure you'll want to go back.
Excellent Food & Service. Came here for the first time recently and instantly became one of my top Mediterranean restaurants in the DFW area. I will definitely continue to eat there and introduce new people!
So Great!. The hookah and the food were perfect. The grape leaves were the best I've ever had. We loved the ground beef kabobs and gyro as well. The staff was extremely nice!
This place is fantastic!! The food tastes like homemade Mediterranean, and it's a fun family atmosphere!! Wonderful hookahs that last forever, and it's beautifully decorated. I will definitely be a regular customer!!
Amazing environment amAzing staff and great food and hookahs! My absolute fav is the french vanilla coffee and the falafel plate!
This place is fantastic. I have tried hookah lounges all over DFW, Addison and Richardson and hands down this place beats all! Must try their rock hookah. One word to describe AMAZING!!! Never got harsh or lost its flavor! Freeka soup and hummas is a must have while you are there! Very elgant place. Once we walked in I felt at home. The staff was great! Couldn't have picked a better place to be a regular. Perfect for a first date! And the back room will be perfect for future birthday parties for myself and kids!!
Amazing!!. The atmosphere literally takes you away from the usual Dallas sense, I would say it's a mini Middle Eastern get away!! Arrived and greeted by the friendly staff, sat in the lounge area (back) where the lights were dimmed giving you a relaxed feeling. Ordered the cabbage rolls as our appetizer and for the main dish Grilled Lamb with rice and baba ganoush as our sides; was so delicious!! I recommend the blue mint with white peach argila (Hooka)...
Can't wait to go back on Wednesday with a group of my friends!!
One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've been to!. I've tried quite a few different Mediterranean restaurants around the DFW and the food is always overpriced with too little portions, and not very tasty! I loveee Arabic food and hookah! I went to Sanabel's last Saturday night to try it out, and OMG!! I was so impressed! The food is soooo good! They provide good portions at veryyy reasonable prices.. The atmosphere is awesome! The front of the place is like a regular restaurant atmosphere, but there's a lounge area in the back which is dimmer and more laid back with couches and tables you can smoke hookah and watch the big screen TV. I absolutely loved the place and i surely will be going back very soon!
I like this place. I visited here maybe a few years ago and it was during dinner. The belly dancers were there as well. The food is good and so as the atmosphere. This time I went during the lunch and it was a laid back environment, kinda like a lounge feel. I’ll he back again definitely. The lamb rack was so good by the way. Hookah as always was prepared properly.
As close as we can find to the Mediterranean food we used to enjoy in Detroit...and better in some ways too.
My wife has been itching to try this place for weeks, so we finally decided to pay a visit.
The outside of this location needs work. The inside was spacious, but lacked a liittle flare for my liking. The services was a little slow, but I guess that's what happens when you have one waiter working the floor.
Finally ordered: Our food was tasty and they gave us large portions.
Entertainment: I truly enjoyed the music in the background. Just make you feel you're in the midwest; it relaxes & calms you after a busy work week.
Overall: it was an exceptional experience to a Friday night out. We be back to explore other items on the menu
Absolutely wonderful! The gyro plate has so many different flavors and textures! Spicy hummus is packed with flavor and just the right the right amount of heat! Service was great and fast! I will be back often.
Can never go wrong with a healthy meal here, salmon grilled kabobs, fresh salads to tasty dips and sides.
Sanabels catered our wedding and the food and service were out of this world. They far and beyond exceeded our expectations. All of our guests loved the food. We had a previous catering company at first, who a week before the wedding were not able to provide us a plated service despite our initial agreement. Sanabels was happy to cater our event with 1 weeks notice. Our cake fell over in its box before the wedding and their lead server's immediate response was to go get some icing and help fix it. We did not even know about this problem until it was fixed and we are very thankful for the staff. We recommend this place to cater for your event or to just dine in their beautiful restaurant.
