Yummy House has new owners and a new chef and a new menu and is now better than ever. Yummy House has always been known for good cheap Chinese food but now the food is much better and the prices seem to be as inexpensive as ever.
I had the Gom Pao Chicken, a play on Kung Pao Chicken, difference being the chicken was not breaded and deep fried but instead sauted. The dish was excellent, the fried rice and Hot and Sour Soup that accompanied it were quite good. Lunch cost $7 plus tax and tip.
Just to be clear I am only a customer here, this was my first visit to the new "Steve's Yummy House" (Steve is the Chef/Owner). I was a regular at the old Yummy House and the restaurants that came before it in this location, I will continue as the food is better than ever.
See you at Yummy House.
Oh, the restaurant has been redecorated and updated to some extent, it is much nicer now but still not a high end dining destination as far as the decor goes.
Pretty tasty, authentic Chinese food at Yummy House! The lunch special is a great value. I have been impressed with everything that I've gotten here.
My wife and I go here FREQUENTLY (like once/week). I always judge Chinese restaurants by their general tsaos chicken, and this is the best I've had. My wife loves the chicken with black bean sauce. Awesome place!
You can't beat this place if you are in the mood for some spicy Asian dishes. Also hands down the best deal for lunch during workdays. Kung Pao Three Delicacies everyday? YES PLEASE!
Fried rice was good, ordered chicken with garlic sauce and didn't like it very much. Reception and service was great, will try again soon
Good service with good food!!! My only complaint would be a language barrier but the food spot on and it's pretty cheap!!! Huge portions but one large eat for two!
The most authentic Sichuan/Hunan cuisine I've find so far that don't make fake/Americanized Chinese food.
