Best noodles in town.. love this place... give five star for the flavor. close to ala moana shopping mall.

We love pretty close by so we had to try it! Very good chicken ramen and pork ramen, my husband also loved their gyoza!
Not very accommodating for allergies as they didn’t really understand what I was asking about, so I played it safe and got something I knew didn’t have nuts or shellfish in it.
Yummy food, inside the mall so very casual. Good spot overall!
This place has always been one of the few small time favorites that I would come to eat with friends. And this place is another one of the few places that has always been good to me and the friends that come here to dine in.
It's an experience in its own right.
But I will say, the meals come in big portions. So treat yourself to a dish at this establishment. And maybe take some extra home. It's worth it for its price.
Very delicious and tasty food. Friendly staff and fast service. Seafood miso ramen was very tasty. We also got the odon chicken katsu curry which is highly recommended too. It is located in uptown and 1st floor area of Pearlridge Shopping Mall. It can get busy especially on weekends. Clean and neat restaurant.
We like to eat here when we don’t feel like driving into town and today I tried their shoyu ramen today (I wasn’t craving their popular tan tan) and it was tasty. Gyoza are also really good. They seated us promptly and had our food out in under 15 minutes.
Goma Tei has some of the best ramen on the island! I have never left disappointed by the quality of the food. I especially love the char siu tan tan ramen but all of their dishes are great. The service was on point as well. The only complaint i have is the price of the beer. It was $5.25 for a small glass, barely half a pint.
Everything thing is onolicious!! Went again today ordered a delicious tan tan wonton Ramen with extra noodles, side of char siu and 4 super yummy ajitama eggs. As we expected delish...so much was ordered (extra noodles) because my daughter and I split everything. Saves $$ from ordering 2 ramen bowls and it's the perfect amount.
Our go to spot when we feel like ramen but don't want to drive to town. 😆 At Pearlridge so parking is usually easy to find. The kids love the Tatsuta age Chicken.
Had the level 3 spicy ramen today. Holy god was it amazing! Super spicy if you can handle it, although I think next time I'm gonna get a level 5 spice, which would be the highest level. Haha.
Good ramen & variety for the right prices. Ordered the gyoza and shoyu - super tasty and recommend.

Gomatei have always been one of my favorite go-tos when I'm craving some soup and noodles. Their menu quite simple, but that makes it easy for them to keep up with demands and quality over the years.
My favorites are the Tan Tan Ramen (sesame allergy allert!), Banbanji chicken (sesame allergy alert!) and their chili sauces, I always get them with a side of the fried garlic topping. 😋 But my friend prefers the Wakame shoyu ramen and Teriyaki chicken (side), I've also tried those and they were yummy as well, but I'm a sesame lover so I just can't resist the Tan Tan. Lol
Definitely recommend this place. Please do note that they have a sign-in sheet located by the front door (mall entrance side) and they do not have intercom or any fancy buzzers so you will need to stay close after signing in to hear their calls.
Service is at a decent pace, tho sometimes you will have to flag someone down if you need something (like refills) and the staff are too busy running around doing one thing at a time. But the staff do not have assigned sections unlike western style establishments so you can literally just wave down whoever is closest for whatever you need.

I will go here again and again until I try the entire menu. The food was delicious. Everything looked so yummy.
We were seated fairly quickly despite the covid seating limitations. One factor I didn't like was that our table was in the corner that appeared to be two tables pushed together. Hard to explain but for a party of three you're really mushed in together or really far apart. Other than that everything was great. Service was good and food came out fast. What I like the most about this place compared to other noodle places is that they don't use unnecessary fillers in their food. Just great ingredients that complement your dish.
We got in fast and the food was very good. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly. No worries over weather your food will be hot as it comes up so fast there's no way you could be cold.
