Excellent food! Offered mild, medium or spicy and the chef actually came out during our meal to make sure the level of spice was to our liking! Nice downtown Aiken location and reasonably priced. Very friendly service. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed Taj Aiken very much last night! The service was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the Indian Cuisine...& the food was fantastic! We enjoyed the music, the lovely silver serving bowl that our beautifully fragrant basmati rice arrived in & everyone at our table thought the flavors were tasty and the meats were tender, etc! The Garlic Naan is something I would recommend as well. We will definitely return:)
Definitely the best Indian food in the csra!!! My favorite appetizer is the samosa Chat! Best main coarse would definitely be the Taj biryani in my opinion. Definitely order the lamb Marsala with garlic naan bread... Everything is. Made fresh to order but definitely worth the wait!!!

I have had my share of Indian food from one side of the United States to the other and this is by far the absolute best cuisine I have EVER eaten! The portions are large, the quality of meat is great, high-end speciality spices used in every meal and nothing is pre-mixed or seasoned. The owner was a pleasure to speak with in regards to his own private twist on recipes. Absolute pleasure!!!! Thank you Taj Indian Cuisine for such a great experience. Look forward to visiting you again at your new location come February.
This our first visit to Taj Aiken. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I had the Dal Makhani. My sister had Sagg Paneer. Both were delicious! We also had an order of Garlic Roti. It was nice to see so many vegetarian options on the menu The owner made a point to come by our table and check in with us. It was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely be back.
Food was very good everyone was friendly and kept up with our drinks and cleanliness of our table. Kid friendly and healthy portions of food. Please be aware that all your food is cooked for you when you order so it may take a little time but is definitely worth the wait so when you arrive order an appetizer if your hungry. We will come back for sure. Thank y'all so much.

We had an amazing dinner here last night! Food was authentic, and the service was impeccable! My kids and I were absolutely thrilled to discover such a unique, eclectic Indian restaurant in Aiken! The garlic Naan bread is a must with any entree-you will be amazed at the exceptional food and service at this restaurant!

Never had Indian food before. We went with a small group and split several dishes. All were delicious. The different spices and tastes were wonderful. Will be back
So excited to have good Indian food in Aiken! The tiki masala and chicken korma with naan was excellent. If you haven't tried Indian food, you are missing out!
We had all apps... Tandoori chicken and Shrimp were amazing, tried the meat Samoas? Really liked, guy behind us let us try some kind of fried spinach.. loved it

Incredible experience at Taj Aiken!!! This was our first taste of Indian cuisine and it was an absolutely phenomenal venture. The food and service was second to none. We had lamb chops, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan.... man oh man!!!! And the sauce for lamb chops took it all to another level!!! Did I mention the great prices! This will definitely be a regular for us as we have plans to try a lot more items on the menu which has something for all palettes. I'm truly feeling this place.... Taj Aiken Indian Cuisine is the bomb diggity!
Delicious food at reasonable prices and with good portion sizes. Our waiter was very helpful and made tasty recommendations that somehow we all enjoyed! If I lived here, I would want to try every thing in the menu

Coming across Taj Aiken while walking in downtown Aiken was a pleasant surprise. Even better was the food on the lunch buffet. There is a variety, with regular and vegan offerings. There is also salad and desert. I tried small portions of everything and found it quite tasty. I’ll certainly be back.
First of all TAJ made our trip worth all the money we were passing through this road and checked Indian food near by and that was the moment we found this gem.
Starting with service we were well greeted and taken to our table. Order taken drinks served and then comes the magic (the food ) ordered the mix veg pakoras , spinach pakoras and the original kachumber salad excellent crispy pakoras and freshly made salad.
One of the best South Indian and North Indian curries I had ever had in USA. We are from NewYork but still felt that TAJ has the best Indian food I ever tasted . Totally Indian food excellent richness.
Their chicken chettinad, madras , and aloo gobi totally Indian.
Chicken tikka masala , korma were out of the world.
Fellow travellers and people in Aiken this place is highly recommended for authentic Indian cuisine.

I absolutely love this place. I've been working my way through the menu and have enjoyed every dish so far. I love this place so much I get an extra dish or two to go. The staff is awesome and the owner is really nice. It's a must for when you're craving something different.
