I David had my rehearsal dinner at The Point on Thursday 9/21 it was the most beautiful best event put together by Sabrina and the staff that help her. The food was beyond great and so was the house made chocolate and peanut butter cake which made the end of the night completed. I recommend if your having any special occasion that you book your evening with The Point.
I took my boyfriend here last night for dinner, it was phenomenal. The food was amazing and the restaurant was beautiful. The quality and quantity is well worth the price you pay. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and an awesome staff. I highly recommend for a date night.

The food was great, few small mistakes with large party, although to me, to be expected. Staff more than happy to make mistakes more than right. Overall very nice experience.

Loved it! Food and ambience were both fabulous. We had dinner for a group of 40. Sabrina coordinated it perfectly. Appetizers and dinner were both fantastic. Can't wait to get back there!

Found this place w/ our GPS while on a trip. Best beet salad I've ever had!! Great pizza, yummy bread. Soup special good, pasta good. Service and atmosphere were superb. Low lighting so hope no misspells!
Best neighborhood, upscale restaurant in Albany. The service, food and atmosphere are what all new Albany hotspots should aim for. I've seen families, couples and groups here - all at the same time, all having a great time. GET THE POINT!!
Best in Town. This was my first time here! The wine and speciality drink list was superb! The beer list could have been more in depth but I'm spoiled from where I'm originally from. The special entrees were AMAZING and the pasta dishes were great! I ordered the black and blue salad without cheese and it was delivered with cheese. Our attentive server saw it and fixed the plate. It took a long time for me to get the plate back and the meat was very cold. Overall the salad was one of the best I've had, regardless of the cold meat. The service was best in town and the food was great!
Butternut Squash soup was out of this world. Calamari was a little busy in the spice dept but was a large portion and very tasty. Wild mushroom pizza was great. We ate at the bar and were well taken care of.
Great Food!. The food was excellent! The staff was comprised of "hipsters", some pleasant, some not. The excellent food definitely compensates for the mediocre service. We will give it a second try and I would suggest the restaurant.
Like it, but trying too hard. This is a fun place to hang out and eat. The food is pretty good, although it seems like they're trying too hard. Every meal has 1 or 2 more ingredients than it really needs.

A very pleasurable experience.. I was hesitant to tag along with five others who chose to go here on a Friday night after a few celebratory drinks at another establishment. I was recalling reading some negative comments, mostly about the service.
However, I was quite surprised when we entered what appeared to be a full house and were told that they could seat us as soon as they cleared a table. This was 9:05 p.m. We were seated after only five minutes in a back room by the rear entrance . This seemed to work to our advantage since the music level was VERY loud in the rest of the restaurant.
Staff quickly provided us with water, menus and a waiter was ready to take our drink orders and describe the evening specials in full detail. While we reviewed the menu our drinks were promptly served and our waiter inquired if we needed more time to study the menu or if we had any questions. We said yes to both questions, received informative answers and were told to take our time making up our minds.
Just as our meals were being served, a seventh person arrived to join us. A place setting was quickly placed at our table and her drink and food order taken.
I mention all this because we were very impressed with the professional level of service we received from our waiter and the other staff.
The food was excellent. Some of what was ordered were the Hanger Steak ($19) - lightly marinated and grilled steak in a robust mushroom sauce served over gnocchi prepared with fresh spinach and gorgonzola; Beef Short Ribs ($24) - slow braised ribs in a rioja wine with sofrito, chorizo, peppers and onions, served with papas fritas; a special of the evening, Ahi Tuna Steak ($?) - grilled to your liking with a side of vegetables that I don't recall; another special of the evening, Cheese Ravioli ($?) - in a pale, light cream, tomato sauce.
I was able to taste all the entrees and was very impressed with the high quality and flavors. A manger?/chef? even stopped by our table to see if everything was to our liking. I won't hesitate to return after this pleasurable experience.
Good spot. Cute atmosphere, good food, great service. The food is not all that inventive, but it's solid. High points: They offer a daily cheese board special that is definitely something to consider. Also, the Parmesan truffle fries are some of the best I've had!
Low points: dessert was not wonderful. They offer gluten-free options, but the wait staff is not always clear which items are actually gluten free.
It may not be the best restaurant in Albany, but it's a nice place to try. Worth the visit!
Great new spot - love the bar & atmosphere - hipster staff is funny, sometime too casual, but overall good. The food is really good, but the menu could be expanded to include more fresh/light entrees. We legitimately love the place, and are very hopeful that it will succeed and evolve to it's full potential.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. From the moment you walk through the door to the time you leave is a wonderful experience!!!! The bartender are very attentive as are the other staff!!! The food is just delicious and presented in a beautiful way!!! Now for the atmosphere it is very relaxing and puts you in the mood to enjoy yourself. Thank you for the great dining experience...I have told everyone about this hidden gem!!!! Yummy!!!
