Easy in and easy out for a plain coffee. There were a fair number of people waiting for their specialty drinks, but I was able to get in and out in 2min. Fast and friendly service.
One of the best Starbucks I've been to. Helpful staff and fast service. The building is beautiful inside and outside. Definitely would recommend coming to this Starbucks to study or work or even just to hang out. They also have a couple tables outside.
Has the best interior I've seen for a Starbucks. Very comfy with great customer service. Staff for the most part seem nice and friendly.
The customer service at this location was really good! Noticably better than at other Starbucks. There is a lot of parking, in the parking lot out in front--which you don't always get in Berkeley.
There is ample space although there were probably only 6 tables or so inside and two outside. Be prepared to possibly have your coffee to-go.

I believe I am reviewing the Starbucks in the Albany CA Monroe Ave shopping park. I was there quite near closing time on a weekday evening. Last minute visits to any cafe sort of business can vary widely, so when the door swung open with only minutes left on the clock my heart began to lift. I spotted the cash register - everything was so clean and shipshape with the crew all there - was I interrupting their exit strategy? No way, these were total pros as I got an immediate cheery greeting while navigating the unfamiliar few feet around to the counter. Drip coffee, the pure black essence of the bean? I so needed this that I couldn't even remember the special Starbucks name for the biggest they had, but no problem! Pastries, even at the end of the day? Oh, yes, they did! Could I use the special coupon I had been sent via email? It was only good on one specific day, and they were very gentle as they helped me understand that I was in such a state that I essentially didn't know what day it was, and kindly even offered me the mercy of reversing the sale. No way I was going to let that happen in my moment of need, and I not only walked out with what I came for but also full of gratitude for their excellent and thoughtful service. It just kept getting better, as even at the end of the day the coffee was delicious! So was the pastry, and I soon found myself revived and able to complete all the errands I'd hoped to be able to do over the next three hours on into the evening. Thank you so much to the great crew and super well-run store, and I look forward to now having you on my regular routes.
