This place is great, I stop in every time I'm near Albany and it's worth the drive if you aren't close by just to take a road trip and eat something different. Excellent food, large portions and the owner is sure to stop by and talk with you personally to make sure everything is as it should be.
Amazing filet mignon in Albany, Texas. The shishkabobs and chicken dishes were also excellent. Large portions and I barely made it through half of my meal.

Not bad. Places like this you go for the "folksie" type atmosphere. So if that's why you're goin, then you'll be pleased. Food was good, not great, but good. (had the peppercorn burger).
Phenomenal food and hospitality / Alli and Jess and team are wonderful - been eating here for 20 years and it keeps getting better - best steakhouse west of the metroplex!
