Delicious Portini Ravioli in garlic parm oil and filet mignon with crusted blue cheese and sautéed mushrooms. Hostess and waitress were friendly.

Great Prime Rib. Tender and cooked just right. Our waitress (Samantha?) was excellent. My guys even got to toss a few while we had a 10 minute wait. Awesome place to eat weather you're a local or just passing thru.
Great place. I can see why they have been around so long. Owner even greets each table.

I was searching for the biggest and best prime rib and found ourselves an hour away from home! Well worth the drive! Prices are great and food is delicious!
Don't forget to ASK for the special of the day as your waitress will not voluntarily offer you that information. My husband really enjoyed the flights of wine for $8.95 and there are plenty of desserts to choose from.
Three things I didn't like is that they sat everyone close to each other, so there was no privacy, even though the restraunt had plenty of open tables all over. Also, there was no dinner music on, which made being so close that much more uncomfortable.
Lastly, the woman who took my reservation was way too eager to end our phone call. I didn't even have time to ask a question or tell her we were celebrating my husband's Birthday. 😞
Fantastic 5 star meals ,cute rooms for the night, great little getaway, and Sunday morning the absolute best brunch at 10 am
My family and I had dinner at The Village Inn on Easter Sunday. We have frequented the restaurant several times as it is one of our favorites. It was extremely busy which is a good indication to me that others enjoy it as much as we do.
The buffet selections were abundant and always kept neat, full and fresh. I was amazed at how efficiently the staff performed under what appeared to be non-stop customers coming through the door. They were very courteous and friendly even under pressure. As busy as he was, Mark(the owner)made time to stop by several tables, including ours, to make sure that everything was satisfactory.
As always the food was excellent and reasonably priced. A great value. We will definitely be back.
A very unique dining experience at a historic place that once was an old stagecoach stop. Very clean and the staff are friendly and very attentive. Prime rib there is very very good. Other meal choice portions are very adequate so come hungry.
Tillmans is known for the prime rib. I had a queen cut, which was the perfect size and was also perfectly cooked. I ordered the stuffed pepper and ham soup instead of a salad, it was excellent! The meal came with potato or rice or vegetable, I had the broccoli as a side vegetable, again very nicely done, seemed just lightly steamed, really good. I only had water, and the waitress was very knowledgeable on the meal and all the specials and kept our glasses full as well as bringing a pitcher with ice for us. We started out with a shrimp cocktail that was fantastic, 4 huge so tasty shrimp. Overall experience was super! Great service, food and price. I have never had a bad experience when eating here...everyone always seems very friendly when visiting.
This was our first time eating atdo Tillmans. The food was out of this world. The best steak that I have ever had. Out server was very sweet. She has been there for 32 years. Her name is Kim. So I'd you desire to go there ask for her by name. Great people. I hope you enjoy.
The meal was superb. The prime rib melted in my mouth. The best I've had in a long time. Service was prompt and excellent. Dont forget the pecan pie to top off fantastic meal.
Pleasantly surprised by this out of the way place. Historical building, good food at a great price. Portions were just the right size, not overwhelming for a change. The staff was attentive but not interrupting. Great atmosphere. Will go back soon for sure.
Visited 3 weeks ago with family. The owner was not present (surprised) the chicken was overdone and dry. The rack of ribs were also very dry and covered in barbeque sauce still did not help. The waitress never told us the specials, and acted like she was being bothered. I asked for a second beer rather soon after I received the first beer. The waitress was going to say I just got you one, but after looking twice at my empty beer bottle, she just went off . Once I received my beer the waitress was showinly disgusted, and had nothing to say. My mother-in-law joined my wife and I for dinner, she tossed out her chicken. WORD TO THE WISE , ONLY EAT THERE IF THE OWNER IS PRESENT.The owner reached out and made this right, We will be back.Thank you Mark look forward to seeing you again.
