Was out and about running errands, diddling about on my phone looking for food, passed this place on the bus, looked up the menu, and immediately got off the bus because steak and eggs. It was definitely worth it. Great price for a great meal. The server was totally rad, almost had me sold on dessert, but my tumtum was already stoked on life. I cannot wait to go back, calm environment, seemed like the people in there, guests and servers, didn't have a care in the world. Service was wildly fast, but still amazing quality. Oh yeah, had a pancake on the side, could have eaten 2 more. It was one of those good good pancakes, too. One of the kinds that you can eat 5 and still want more, just because they are straight up nailing it with the yum

Wow...I have not eaten here and boy have I missed out. The green chile here is some of the best I have ever eaten. I live my chile to have some heat and there's certainly did. I even purchased some to take home! Their smothered breakfast burrito was so good. We also tried the carne adovada which also had a really good spice to it and heat from the chile. We like it so much we decided to go in a Sunday the next weekend and only got there to realize they were closed. Oh, what a disappointment we felt but either way we are looking forward to going back. The service was awesome! Our waiter was attentive with a great attitude and personality. Service was spot on! I definitely recommend this place, especially if you love chile. UPDATE: We went back and I ordered the chicharrones HOWEVER...they are not chicharrones, they are carnitas. I asked our server if I was given the wrong order since both carnitas and chicharrones are on the menu and was told no, they're actually one in the same. This was a drag because.authentically they are very different. Chicharrones are crunchier, where carnitas have more meat and are softer. Just an FYI, be aware of what you will get when ordering. Food and setvice is still amazing though. If you read my review, please hit the like button. Thank you

The food was pretty decent, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Still looks almost exactly how it looks in Breaking Bad.

Breakfast at Loyola’s. The best New Mexican food in Albuquerque. Loyola’s has been around for 40 years, and we’ve been eating here for nearly 30. Same wonderful food and service. Our family always gets a big greeting when we come piling through the door.

Ten outta ten, I'll eat here again! My breakfast was amazing. The pancake, with it's crispy edges, melted in my mouth. The unique home fries were cooked to perfection. The homemade sausage, I saved for last. From the greeting to the table service, everything was spot on. My coffee cup was never empty. Definitely a great place to dine.

Great food at a descent price. Their green chili is AMAZINGLY flavorful, not just heat like a lot of other places . We see eating there as a treat !

Outstanding all-around. Staff are always cheerful and responsive, and the food is never less than excellent. Prices are reasonable, and there's some interesting history here as well. Go!

Ordered the western 3-egg omelette and the biscuit and gravy with eggs. The home fries weren’t my favorite but the omelette was yummy :) the atmosphere was cozy and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive.

The sopapillas were super yummy. I got the ground beef enchiladas (stacked) with Christmas (red and green chile) on the side. I wanted chicken but they did not have it today. I was pleasantly surprised with how flavorful the ground beef enchiladas were.

You got it all, Loyola's! So happy I found you a couple of years ago. It took months for me to move past the steak and enchiladas with a pillowy-soft sopaipilla on the side -- they are so damn tasty.... If I like a place, I like to move through the menu very, very slowly so it is hard to comment much on other items. But the Carne Adobada and Chicken Fried Steak are delectable and my family all tell me the other dishes are awesome! All good NM food is based on excellent Chile and both red and green are delicious here. BUT, I have to say the Natillas alone are worth the trip! The space is a fantastic hold-out of those 1950 -1960s diners with the funky mid-century architecture, but the family has made such tasteful New Mexican additions to the decor that it is truly a unique place on Route 66. The service is wonderful. Never have to wait long and the staff is always super-nice and pleasant. I have never had an issue. If there is any one complaint, it is that the restaurant closes at 2pm and not open Sun-Mon. So if you want to enjoy, get in before 1:30p... or earlier because those tasty Natillas run out quickly!

What can I say? A place where locals gather for great food, awesome service and a vibe that makes you crave it as much as a craving for their chile cheese fries and the best sopapillas in town (in my humble opinion). I love sitting at lunch counter for that nostalgic feeling as the servers busily swirl around greeting the regulars with genuine smiles. Today, the family sitting at the large booth ordered french toast, green chile breakfast burrito with sausage, taco salad, taco plate and 1/4 cheeseburger with french fries and a side of red chile cheese fries. As large as our order was and as packed as the diner was, we didn't have to wait very long. The taco salad was nicely plated and was what you'd expect in a taco salad. The breakfast burrito was chock full of goodness, very substantial and was promptly inhaled by my son who considers himself a burrito connoisseur and pronounced it delicious. My daughter was very happy about her french toast commenting on the golden brown crusty exterior and fluffy interior. The taco plate with two tacos, beans and rice. The ground was nicely seasoned and tasty, as was the rice. The beans, well, they were nearly as good as my grandma's! The cheeseburger, served deluxe and french fries, GBD(golden brown and delicious) hit the spot and took me back to my childhood, sitting in a diner, with my grandfather. Simpler times back then. Although I rated the food as four stars, don't get me wrong, was excellent. But as with anything, there's always room for improvement. Just ask the locals packing the diner and bringing along new friends add to the energy. The guys in the kitchen are about the best diner cooks in Albuquerque! I'm there almost every Saturday!

The restaurant where Mike of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul and other celebrities is this place to dine for breakfast and lunch in Nob Hill of Central Ave. The menu is quite extensive, but the chile relleno and eggs area a delicious treat for either meal. Awesome pancakes and many other items served with a warm and friendly staff. The restaurant has been an institution for many decades along Route 66.

Nooooo! They're closed until July 12th! This is where Mike from Breaking Bad enjoyed eating. Everything looks exactly like the show! We had to stop in. I snapped a few photos and what do you know? Mike was parked out front enjoying breakfast ;-)
