Finally came to eat, I must say this is the closest food to home cooking! Made us feel right at home, the service was amazing. I highly recommend eating here!

I've eaten at Perea's starting back when they were on Central across from checkers and the post office. I will drive anywhere they move to because they have the best New Mexican food period!

You really need to make it possible to leave a tip on a debit card. The customer service was as excellent as the food & I had zero cash. I'm going back to leave Tierza the tip she deserved. Take care of your waitstaff, Perea's!

Great traditional New Mexican food. Good service and a nice atmosphere. The chile was great and a little hot. Great beans and rice too.

Tried this place for the first time today- as we got out of the car- it smelled SOOOO good, we couldn't wait to go in. The staff was awesome! Our server was one of the best we have had in a long time! I ordered the parea burger with green Chile and my wife got the cheese enchiladas with green. They were both soooo good! Definitely some of the best enchiladas I've had! Everything tasted homemade. It truly tasted like we were eating at someone's home. I HIGHLY recommend stopping in and getting a bite to eat here! Save room for their sopapillas!!!!

The Hatch chile on our breakfast was so very flavorful, it's spicy and not for light weights for sure, I think it only comes in one flavor but the New Mexicans and Native Albuquerque-ians love it that way, this place is definitely a locals place for delicious food, they sell salsa by the pint also, the waitress here was so very helpful in helping us find a spot we could buy our own chiles...we made it to the Chile Konnection because of her recommendation. *** we came back the next day. It was just as good. I love the chile Christmas style. Thank you, ladies, for a wonderful breakfast both days we visited the area.

Good chile (both red and green) can be found at Perea’s. The small size tells you this is a place for locals—not a lot of tourists here. Service is awesome and prices are what you expect to pay. Perea’s is not my go-to for New Mexican food. I found the portions small. I would gladly pay more for a larger breakfast burrito or more Carne Adovada. Again, the food is good here. I’m used to the larger portions found at other NM food establishments.

We were driving thru and found this place on Google Maps. I give the restaurant Five Stars for their food, service, and atmosphere. My wife ordered the Huevos Rancheros with Green Salsa, and I ordered The Carne Adovada with two eggs, and both were delicious, we wanted order more food as every dish that their servers would bring out to other nearby tables looked tasty. Instead, we ordered to go a Pozole Bowl and Chile Relleno that was suggested by Angela. By the way, Angela provides great customer service to us and every customer in the establishment. I definitely recommend this place and would be back to try more of their food the next time I find myself in Albuquerque.

I haven't had all the Green Chile in Albuquerque, but Perea's is the best Green Chile I have had hands down. Also shoutout to their Chile Rellenos, which is the best I have ever had in my life. If my family wants great food at a reasonable price, we go to Perea's.

A very nice Saturday breakfast. Restaurant was pretty crowded around 9 AM but they got us seat right away. My wife had eggs, potatos and bacon along with hot cakes. All was good and there was lots of bacon. I had huevos rancheros which was also very good. We will stop back again.

Perea's has been my favorite New Mexician restaurant for over 20 years. They have the best green chile anywhere! The red chile is top notch as well. Try anything...you'll love it! The green chile sauce was amazingly delicious today. It is truly the best in town

Delicious food, sweet servers, reasonable prices. The stuffed sopas I had this morning were EXCELLENT. The only downside is that it's a small restaurant and when they get people waiting, the servers start checking on you a lot more regularly and it starts to feel like they're hurrying you along.

They make Mickey Mouse-shaped pancakes for the kiddos, and their juevos rancheros is very tasty and.the red chili is very good. We called in a pick-up order - it was ready on time and the staff was SUPER friendly when they cashed us out.

The red chile is amazing on huevos rancheros. My daughter gobbled up her huge fluffy pancake, thick crispy bacon and scrambled eggs.

Best Mexican food on earth! A welcome New Mexican touch to great food, and excellent service. For travelers passing through, the Chile is a hot salsa-type sauce - they let us try a sample of each before we ordered. I may move here just so I could experience this every day.

Update 2022: Still outstanding! Please please keep it up Perea’s and I hope you get the staff help you need. Update 2021: Still EXCELLENT TASTING FOOD! The huevos rancheros is DELICIOUS! —— 2019, Excellent food! Since my old go-to place closed down, Perea's is my new go to place for breakfast for tradition New Mexican food. Food is good and tasty. Chile was hot and the coffee wasn't too bad either. The only drawback to the place is it's a bit small. Get there early for breakfast or you may be waiting around a bit.
