Indian Grill is one of my all-time favorite places to eat at. It's excellent, well priced and the people are great. The buffet is the best deal ever!

Awesome restaurant excellent food. One of the best looking restaurants in Albuquerque. Food I ordered was very traditional in taste and full of flavor. I would highly recommend India grill to anyone who wants flavorful Indian food.

First it was India Palace, then India Grill, now Indian Food and Grocery. I don't know what's going on, I just know that their food is always tasty, have never gotten sick, and I've been a customer for years. The grocery is stupendous. Fresh foods, cold foods, frozen foods, canned, boxed, and pre-made foods, as well as plenty of spices, flours, mixes, and snacks. If you love Indian food this is a godsend! We don't live in town, but traveled to town to shop for specialty groceries such as these. The restaurant is more of a "sit down" or "take out" cafeteria style now.... and the food is still great - and more reasonably priced!

Great food as always! We enjoyed the saag lamb, tandoori chicken wings, tandoori boneless chicken and my wife's new favorite l, reshmi chicken. The only thing that was off was the raita, but they told me they experimented with a new recipe (added squash).. go back to the regular way please! :)

Excellent flavor. Generous portions. Went for dinner and ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, and a Mushroom/Pea Tomato Curry dish. All three incredible. Ended up bringing at least a third home for leftovers. Will definitely go back!!

I have to admit that I am spoiled. I have lived and traveled to cities with large East Indian populations and great Indian restaurants. I usually avoid buffets like the plague but it was a small place and I was there during lunch so I gave it a try. The food was just so-so. I had to really look for the meat in the dishes with sauce. The vegetable dishes tasted bland, however the Chicken Tandoori was dry but tasty. The grocery section was small but their prices were good, just not near enough variety. I love Indian spices but their selection was much smaller than I was used to. Same thing with the rice. However, for a city the size of Albuquerque maybe it's not too bad. One thing that I need to mention is the sink in the Men's bathroom. It was the craziest thing that I have ever seen. There is no sink, just a granite-like slab that the water runs onto. It doesn't look like it has anywhere to go but there is a hidden seam that it drains into. Maybe it's a popular thing but I have never seen it before. I added an extra point just for that.

I literally drove 200 miles to reach this place. Man the food is Halal and sooo good! My favorite was the Lamb Curry. The employees were super nice and friendly, it was totally worth the drive. Highly recommend.

I could eat here every day. Small Indian grocery store, family owned and full of family love and care. Hot buffet available with wonderful choices, also menu items available as well if you prefer not to eat off the buffet. Seriously, best Indian food in ABQ!

This family has been serving amazing food in the area for some time, and this iteration features what they’ve always specialised in: incredible service and delicious fare. The fact that they have a grocery as well as the full time buffet is a bonus.

My wife and I visited the new Indian restaurant INDIAN FOOD AND GROCERY on Wyoming and Academy, and we were delightfully surprised at the top-notch quality of food and outstanding service. Tonight we enjoyed their buffet, which included a good variety of dining entrees, including butter chicken, goat curry, saag paneer, tandoori, aloo Gobi, and many more. We both loved the tender butter chicken, and I discovered the tasty goat curry – everything was wonderful. Best of all, prices were very reasonable. Highly Recommended.

When I walked in here with my daughter, I was greeted with a clean and warmly decorated. The smell was heavenly, but the food was even better! The service was great. Each person was patient and pleasant. I truly felt welcome there. My daughter and I both had the buffet, and it had a great variety, it was kept fresh, and tasted wonderfully. I'm glad that I chose this place to introduce my daughter to Indian cuisine.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted and seated promptly. The food is amazing! The lunch buffet is exceptional with a variety of delicious choices. The staff is courteous and friendly. Not only is the dining area clean and neat but the bathrooms were the same. I will definitely make this one of my regular lunch destinations.

Excellent food and experience all around. My wife and I had dinner there Saturday evening (March 2017) for the first time, and we were wowed. Beautiful atmosphere, beautifully prepared dishes, and the quality of each dish was consistently flavorful and vibrant--all at reasonable prices. Our friends who took us there said that the buffet is the place to try out the vast majority of the menu offerings, so if you are unsure about Indian cuisine, then for less than $10, the buffet is a great way to expand your food world. Highly recommended.

Honestly, the buffet was "meh." The store is great!! Fantastic prices and wonderful spice mixes. I have found some amazing premixed spices for curry here at a fraction of what I would have spent anywhere else. The customer service was a bit lacking, but that is with any ethnic store when you're not that ethnicity.
