One of my favorite places in Albuquerque... It's very tasty food, healthy, and pretty quick. Such a friendly family-owned business with great staff and welcoming environment. The music, TV, and wall paintings are transporting as well. Love this place. Very authentic and incredible food.
A lot of places here try to Americanize their cultural food. Not this place. Authentic, flavorful, and bountiful for a really good price. The pies are amazing and unique, the Jallab is one of the best sweet fruit teas I've ever had, and the lamb is on point every time.
The food is delicious and the workers are so down to earth! The food is also made fast and fresh. Also a very clean atmosphere. Would 100% recommend.
The food is awesome and the staff is friendly. The chicken tikka kabob is perfect: the spice on the outside is grilled just right, but the meat remains tender. I love this place!
So sorry someone posted a review about this place in my name. It was not me. I love the food there. I stop in several times a week. If I can't get in I pay my best friend to stop in a get me food from there. I love the family atmosphere great food, friendly staff,
i've been coming here for years. Omar is always a delight and their shwarma is the best ;)
I haven't found a Mediterranean restaurant I love in Albuquerque until now. I think we'll be regulars. They are so kind and welcoming and the food is delicious! Totally recommended
I stop at this place at least once to eat, they treat everyone really well and the food is awesome. The staff and everyone else is super friendly and helpful.
Super excited to be having Middle Eastern food in New Mexico who would have thought i ate the most incredible falafel here in Abq. I almost wept tears of joy when i found out they serve Jallab & it's wonderful if
you have never had it I highly recommend it. The staff
is friendly & personable.Eat here and walk away happy.
I think they are the best good food and excellent people and good service and the price is right
We travel a lot for Indian wedding and fusion weddings. We love to try the local restaurants. Yesterday we wanted to try Sahara.
It has good food and quick service. Perfect for lunch and dinner.
We had three wraps. Gyro lamb and beef, chicken shawarma, kafta lamb and beef.
All 3 were good. Check them out. The inside has some interesting decor also.
very tasty đ everything fresh, tastes as it should â€ïž just waited a bit long for the order to prepare, but we had a big company too. nice place, thanks!
This is a great spot for middle eastern cuisine. Great falafel wrap, hummus, pita, and baklava. The salad was underwhelming and very oily, but that was easy to look past.
Sahara is great! Love their veggie sampler. Itâs delicious and an amazing deal for $12 đ
Amazing food as always! I love the food and the owners are always kind and helpful!
definitely the best middle eastern food in abq, you have to get the greek fries they NEVER miss. my favorite restaurant for real <33 we have never had leftovers we cannot stop
This place was awesome; delicious food, courteous staff and there is plenty of indoor seating. We got a dinner plate with a chicken skewer and a gyro with basmati rice. The falafel, chicken meat, gyro meat, hummus and basmati rice were all excellent! Prices were reasonable for the portions we received. We left with happy bellies and will for sure be back!
Great, authentic, and easy to find restaurant! Ordering at the counter is simple and quick. Theyâve got quite the extensive menu of traditional middle eastern dishes. Whether youâre looking for sweet or savory, thereâs something for everyone!
I ordered the beef and lamb shwarma with fries and lemonade. The shwarma comes wrapped up tight, so if youâve got to grab and go, theyâve got you set. Each was served up hot and fresh, and the lemonade was cool and refreshing. Check in for their specials each day as well!
Walked in, took a seat and was ignored by the wait staff. I asked if I needed to order at the front before sitting down, was told no, so I sat down again. Still ignored by the wait staff, so I left. Canât review the food because I didnât get as far as ordering although it looked nice on other customersâ plates. Seems clean though - thatâs about all I can say. UPDATE: I went back to give it another shot after the nice response from the owner. The food was excellent. Enjoyed the hummus, falafel and tabouleh salad.
Great food, the greatest burger and shawarmas, and kebabs đ„č; my kids always have things to criticize but they were amazed by the food. I greatly appreciate the nice and welcoming lady in the front, she made our stop even more welcoming and will never cross New Mexico Albuquerque without eating here, the other good thing about this location is close to Highway so you donât have to drive off your route.
