Love this restaurant! Delicious food, outstanding service. Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Blackberry crepes are soooo good! Huevos Rancheros was yummy. Had Christmas chili, both were delicious!!
First time getting food here, got it to go, will have to dine in soon! It was amazing! Everything is super fresh and not smothered in salt. Reminds me of a small hole in the wall restaurant in the small town I moved here from, the best comfort breakfast food. Wholesome! Will definitely be going back. :)
Home made food. I tried their green Chile stew, was delicious. Their crepes were amazing. A lot of older folks go here so I could understand why the temp was a little warm. Other than that I think this is a cute fun place to eat and the service was excellent. Will be back.
Great experience....the AVOCADO & BACON OMELET was yummy. Got the house made bread toasted & served with homemade jam. Our table shared BLACKBERRY CREPES....oh my...good thing I don't live nearby or I'd be snarfing those down on a regular basis.
Ordered the avocado bacon omelet and the Quiche Lorraine. The house made bread was dense and tasty, reminded me of my mom’s homemade bread :) the zucchini bread was wonderful as well. Loved the atmosphere and staff were all very friendly and patient.
We are definitely fans of this little gem. We weren't quite certain what to expect from the name and the very humble and hidden entrance. What we found just the other side of the doors was a charmingly old-fashioned restaurant space complete with pink tablecloths, floral carpets, and lovingly hand-painted art on the walls. It was such a homey space that in all honesty, the dining room reminded me less of being in a restaurant and more of suppers at the homes of my aunts or grandmothers when I was little. The atmosphere of homeyness was continued by the lovely server who used endearments like "sweetie" and "hon" rather than the colder and more formal "ma'am" or "sir" that I've become used to in dining.
I'm not sure how we managed it, but Raz had The Gonzo, I had French Onion Soup, and we split a half-order of Blackberry Crepes for dessert. It was a pretty awesome brunch, but the definite star of the meal was dessert. The blackberry compote was sweet and tart and bursting with flavor, while the sweetened cream cheese inside was just plain decadent. We would love to come back and try more of the menu, though that can be difficult for a dedicated night-owl like me since it's on the other side of town and closes by 2 pm.
A quaint diner with tablecloths and warm friendly service. Traditional New Mexican dishes, omelets, and lots of side dishes await you at this restaurant with plenty of space for guests. The restaurant has been in business for decades.
Impressive service, delicious food, and reasonable pricing. I love the atmosphere of the inside. They have regular customers who they know by name. Very spacious interior. Annie is kind and easy to talk to.
Plain Coffee was heads and shoulders above flying star. Food tasty. The wait staff are life long servers, responsive, not hipstery types who wouldn't lift a finger to clean. And Clean it is!! The decor is Unchanged since 1992, at least!! They had the Gonzo in 1992, when Judy and George owned it. They still have the Gonzo, and it's good! In a world full of B.S., ASK has stood the test of time. I am very impressed:) I think they could change the decor, but keep the food, etc. exactly the same.
The owners Marie and Martin are so awesome, if you haven't tried Annie's you need to get there. Atmosphere is great, food is even better.
Homey atmosphere, friendly staff, comfort food always consistent. Hot turkey-avocado-chili sandwich is my go-to meal. Yup, I had it again today.
I went to Annie’s for the first time today because I was craving French onion soup and didn’t want to spend the day making it. The place was already crowded by regular customers who I could hear and see being warmly greeted by the staff. Another Google reviewer gave a perfect description of Annie’s decor as being like her mom’s Midwest kitchen, inclusive of the table cloths, wall art and curtains. I could see a lot of delicious-looking breakfast items passing by me on platters and a display of pies that was hard to resist. But I went there for the soup and was not disappointed, as Annie’s French onion soup is the best I’ve eaten anywhere. Based on the quality of that soup and the spinach salad, I’ll be going back soon to try the rest of the menu.
Outstanding!! Customer service alone is worth it, but the food! So delicious!! Definitely recommended. My daughter and son in law took me here for mother's day. Excellent 👌
We love this place. It’s like going to your grandmas house for breakfast.
This is a good gathering place. Maybe best to choose French or breakfast items on the menu.
Good homemade food. Great deserts. Been there forever.
Fantastic food. It really feels like a nice cozy place to eat at.
