The food is phenomenal! They have a great selection with breakfast and for someone like myself, healthy food! Fresh fruit, and for lunch the pollo loco 2 is amazing. Apart from their food is the customer service. Erika and Juan take the time with their customers and really care about them. This is the restaurant experience I have had since moving to Albuquerque. I definitely recommend eating here!

The service was excellent, I REALLY liked the small cozy environment and decor. The restroom was very clean (that's big for me). And the food was tasty, plentiful and priced perfectly, for us. Plus, they had ol fashioned bottled cola's!! I took my daughter here and we were both thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. Absolutely WILL RETURN!!
Great place for the family. The food is delicious, the prices are great and they have a kid friendly menu. I have never left disappointed and feel like I am at home. The owner is the cook and will come out to each table to ensure the food met expectations. He greets his customers with a smile on his face and invites us back as if we were family. My favorite items on the menu are the chili cheese fries, frito pie and the Philly cheese steak.

This place is amazing, and it was my first time being here. I've drove past this place a lot and it wasn't the easiest place to spot but I really recommend stopping here. Its a cozy gem with people who care about their customers and food, it was great. I ordered a #4 Burger and it was delicious, the patty was full of flavor and the vegetables we're fresh! My fries were some of the best I've gotten, hot and crispy on the outside and soft inside. My love ordered a #1 Burger, which was an open faced burger topped with cheese and fries and your choice of green/red Chile. In this case it was green and was very hot! (Yes, we were warned before we ordered, the cook told us he wants everyone to enjoy their food.) It's not for people that can't handle a nice kick to their palette. I was very jealous I didn't order this but I loved my plate as well. I ate the fries as green Chile cheese fries and they made my sinuses clear amazingly. After I had paid I decided to order what looked like a cheesecake but I'm not too sure. It was so thick, but when you ate it, it became light and so smooth, buttery and creamy. Its become one of the best things I've ate, and I don't even like to order dessert but this was very worth it. I paid around 23$ for Two delicious burgers that came with fries and a 32 oz soda & a cheesecake. It was worth it.
As of the time of this post i am half way thru the carne adovada burrito, its very tasty. Big portion, the service is great was greated as i walked in and seated.
This restaurant is really good! The food is always made to order. So it comes out super fresh. The owner/chef is a really nice man. Most of the times that we've been there he will come to our table to make sure we liked the food. He is a really nice man and I wish him the best!
That was the best service in any restaurant, I have ever been in, within all of Albuquerque! The cook came out himself to ask us if we liked our food, and asked us if there was anyway that he could improve anything at all. The food was perfect. I couldn't have been happier. Oh and he wife sells water proof makeup too. They have a sentence written up above the windows from the entrance that reads " Come as customers, but leave here as friends" I loved that. It was exactly how they mad us feel.
The owner is very personable. This restaurant is very clean. The food portions are super generous and the food is amazing. This is a perfect place for breakfast. It will keep you full all day. It is well worth the money and drive I can't wait to come back for a lunch and dinner in the near future. Juan & his family have put a lot of thought and passion to this little cafe. Even down to his chefs attire.

Great family owned restaurant with competitive prices. I noticed they give better quality options than chain restaurants. As a seasoned reviewer of restaurants I'd recommend this place, whole heartedly to anyone looking to support local business.
Moni's Cafe is a nice local start up at the time of this review the owner/operator served food with Dixie paper plates. This doesn't take away from the experience but shows how mindful cost is a factor in starting a business.
All I ask if your looking to go here to look pass the paper plates and enjoy any of their burgers, Philly cheese steak. Everything is good
I used to eat here all the time when i worked a few doors down. The owners are really good people with great attitudes and are great cooks! I’ve never had a bad experience here. Everything always tastes great, the owners have such great manners. I highly recommend this place if you wanna grab a good homemade meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Yo comia mucho aqui antes cuando trabajaba cercas. Los dueños son muy buena gente y muy amables! Nunca e tenido una experiencia mala aqui. La comida SIEMPRE sabe deliciosa y hecha en casa. Si buscas comida cazera para almuerzo, lonche o cena, ESTE ES EL LUGAR! 😊
Love this place.... It is going to be our new spot. The food is excellent, tasting like a home cooked meal and it is so inexpensive! Great service and cozy atmosphere! A must eat!
2nd time here - delicious again! Tried the beef brisket sandwich and hubby tried Philly cheese. Both tasted great. Tried cheesecake and nice flavor and consistency but not new York style - egg based almost like pudding or custard. Kiddo loved it. Definitely coming back next weekend.
Visited ALBQ from El Paso and we can honestly say, WOW! First of all the customer service experience is on point. Staff if very friendly and are here to make sure you feel welcomed as well as cozy. Tried the Green Chile with the Eggs breakfast, it did NOT disappoint. Talk about the cook/ chef choosing his ingredients very well. Also had a Menudo and I can honestly say it's on my top 3. Asked for some extra dry red chilli and it was not only fresh, but spicy as well. This will be the first place we stop by for Breakfast next time we stop by ALBQ
Muyyy Ricooo!!! Very delicious. The freshly made Pollo Loco #2 is the best dish I ever had in a long time. Plus we got excellent service. This family owned biz make you feel at home.
This place was pretty good. The service was prompt and the food reminded me of going over to my grandmas for breakfast. You order what youd like and they serve you on paper plates. Tasty food and nice people at a good price. I would recomend and plan on going back, they take text message orders and are open early.
Incredible comfort food. Very comfort cozy atmosphere too. Very nice people. Seems bilingual every time I go. Not fancy but yummy.
We had the burritos. My husband was very impressed with it and told the owner it was the best he'd had in years. The owner definately cares about the quality of his food and his customers.
