Located on the ground floor right across from Trader Joe's. Go in the door, turn right, and walk past the ice cream/bubble tea shop to be seated. It looks a bit dark even when it's open. There's no hostess out front so be patient and someone will be by to seat you. For pick up, go straight to the back near the window. Service was friendly, but a bit slow. Food overall was very good. Big flavors and a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth trying this place.
Excellent food and service. A personal favorite! Great service and excellent experience with tasty food varieties. A favorite place to eat.
I didn’t order lot but I definitely come back to try more. Good vibe, easy to order and pay. To me is is authentic Vietnamese food.
The chicken pho broth may be the best I've ever had in the DC area. Summer rolls we're also good. They mostly use compostable and recyclable takeaway containers and utensils which is a big plus!
We came here for a Saturday morning brunch. Made reservations, not knowing if it would be very busy or not (reservations weren't necessary). The bottomless brunch was $38 per person, along with 5¢ cocktails mainly consisting of Bellini variants. My favorite was the Saigon Bloody Mary which was VERY spicy from red chilli flakes in the mix. If you can't handle spicy, move on to the next. The Banh Bao was all right. The table favorites were the Pho, Mi Xao Gion (crispy noodles topped with stir fried veggies and choice of meat as pictured), and the Cha Gio Ga (fried chicken egg rolls).
If you're looking for more traditional breakfast choices, they do have french toast, pancake options, and plenty of items with eggs included.
Our bill came out to $150 including tip for 3 people. The service was great. Everyone in our party was content with the meal (lots of msg so we were craving water throughout the day). If I lived near Alexandria, I may come here for certain dishes but I think the brunch option was a one time thing for me unless I'm entertaining a visiting friend who is craving a Vietnamese bottomless brunch. The food was certainly authentic!
Wow. So many specials. Such great decor. The food is amazing as well. We come here multiple times a week and have made this a go to choice. Definitely ask for recommendations as the menu is very different from anything else in Alexandria. Sit at the bar for the best specials
After walking from King Street on a hot, sunny day, I wanted a light meal and chose the $12 lunch special. I ordinarily don't order deep fried food, so the roll was a special treat. I decided it was the perfect time to try banh mi for the first time, so I can't rate it as compared to others. I just know it was really good. If you're planning to shop at Trader Joe's, Sunday in Saigon is right next door.
