My first time trying ethiopian food ! I loved the atmosphere , there is a small bar and pool table at the other side of the dining area. Friendly service ! I was so full ! I wish I had made some room to try some pasteries from the bakery next door ! Next time !

We were looking for a culinary adventure. Enat Fine Ethiopian Cuisine did not disappoint. It had been decades since our last Ethiopian meal! This place is a dive but does have very helpful and friendly staff, a full bar and the glassware was clean. Our server, Brook, was attentive and explained the menu. He provided a number of suggestions for our meal: honey wine, yebeg wot, assa dulet, shiro, gomen, tikil gomen, fasolia, misser watt, shiro, timatim fitfit, kik aletcha. We ordered all of his suggestions. There were a few I forgot. My favorite was the assa dulet. We also ordered their sambussa which was delightful. The owner stopped by to provide us with a remedial demonstration on how to use the Injera for the meal. (There is no cutlery. You use the Injera bread to collect bits of food.) I was using WAY TOO MUCH Injera for each bite and was the first of my group to deplete my Injera. True story: at the end of our meal one of the other diners, also named Brook, came over and insisted on paying for our meal. We learned that Brook is a common Ethiopian male name which means blessed and peaceful.

Enat is a decent Ethiopian restaurant in the Alexandria area. It is a smaller more cafe style restaurant with strong spicy food. I recommend getting the Agegelel option for variety. What was also nice to try was the Areke which is an authentic vodka style drink that you don't find in many America based ethiopian restaurants. All in all we had a good experience here. Don't expect 5 star service but do expect some tasty food

I have been a regular customer at Enat Restaurant for years. They offer excellent kitfo and Yebeg Wot. The staff is very friendly with outstanding service. There was never a disappointment. The owner is very pleasant and accommodating as well.

Truthfully the best Veggie Combo and Kitfo I’ve had in the DMV in years. Consistently fresh and everything is house made. They have also meat Samplers (Enat Agelgel) and other dishes to suit a group. But, the Veggie Combo and Habesha beer are unbeatable! Recommended to everyone.

This was my first time eating Ethiopian. My friend Randi used to eat here all the time. She said the place has been remodeled since the last time she was there and that it was a huge improvement. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My friend chose us the veggie combo and the whole fish. The food was really good especially the different lentils. The bread was spongy and a sourdough flavor. Overall I was really impressed and would eat here again. It also didn't take us long to eat at all.
