Such a tasty meal! Rare to find such delicious vegan/vegetarian options (garden dumplings and tofu options on the noodles) in Asian food that are intentional and given the attention to taste that the meat options are given, rather than as just a concession. The atmosphere was chic while still being warm and welcoming. Would absolutely go again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Came here for Valentine’s Day dinner. Food was excellent. Our favorite was the roasted pork baos! We ordered it twice. The lamb skewers were to die for! Skip the potatoes. This place is small maybe 10-12 tables. It’s on a less side of old town so parking shouldn’t be a problem. Beautiful by the waterfront. I’ll be back to try the other dishes!

Delicious food, pleasant outdoor seating, and fantastic service. Excellent vegetarian options, particularly the Tofu ZHǍDÒUFǓ which can be upgraded to include crispy bao buns and chili oil. Three appetizers was so much food to share with my girlfriend we didn't even order a noodle entree. Will have to come back to try!

The food and service was great 5 star actually. I had the bok choy, pork belly buns, dumplings, lemon aid, and the little pot noodle bowl. I added just a touch of chili oil to the noodles and the were perfect. Of course doing the most, I had to get the warm sake to sip on. Needless to say I was stuffed. The only reason for the 4 stars was the abundance of large gnats bothering me while I dined inside. I’m sure that will be taken care of soon. Over all I had great food and service. I will be back (dining outside though).

I do love the food here! I’ve been here several times, and each time the dumplings and bowls have been delicious!! The little pot is great and filling, the bok choy was decent but lacked a little seasoning, and the crab dumplings were buttery and tasty. This was my first time sitting inside, as previous visits were during the height of the pandemic. Gnats. Gnats. Gnats! On the walls, buzzing around our food, everywhere. They made the experience less than ideal. I will return, because the food is great, but I’ll just sit outside.

A hidden gem in the heart of old town Alexandria . They had a nice out door seating. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. The dessert was a combination that I never knew I needed! Would definitely recommend!

WOW. I picked up an order to go, which included the lamb skewers and beef tenderloin noodles. It was enough food for two, and the flavor absolutely warmed me to the core. I usually am not a lamb fan but the reviews convinced me to give it a try, and thank goodness I did. The meat was very tender and perfectly charred, flavored in a way that made my mouth water. The noodles will be the reason I continue to come back though—I immediately bookmarked the location to save for when family and friends visit because I want to try everything on the menu. It is a small space and on a busy weekend evening, you’ll need a reservation for sure. I think it would make a lovely date night. I was SO happy with the food and I can’t wait to go back!

A cute little restaurant serving Yunnan Rice Noodle bowls alongside steamed bao buns, dumplings, and various chinese BBQ dishes. The pork belly bao were incredible, and we enjoyed the noodle bowl. However, our dumplings were burnt (not just crisped) on the bottom, and service was pretty slow.
