I've pretty much have become a regular here so far.
Things here that have made me fall in love with this place has been several different things that I'll go into detail with.
The customer interaction has always been pleasant not only for me but I have also watched the interactions with others and it has just been a very good experience. The salespeople are courtesy and will go to the tables to check if you need anything else to make sure your experience is the best possible.
Tables are set up accordingly ketchup bottle, napkins, salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce. You can spice up your meal at a convince and clean your hands it's just perfect. The tables are kept clean and so are the places you sit either at a booth or chair.
Menu items: They have a variety burgers, chicken, catfish, chef salad, and livers. I've tried most of the items my go to are the 8 piece nuggets with the side of fries good bit of food. They also have the darrells sauce which is solid, I dip everything into it fries, chicken, and burgers sometimes it matches up with cane's sauce if not better.
The drink selection are Pepsi products and tea. They have good milkshakes I suggest the chocolate peanut butter.
They do charge .25 cents for the cup if you want water, I hope in the future they come up with a more cost effective way for the cup to offer customers water without a cost.
I hope this review is helpful to the people looking to try the place out, it's a good place and a quiet atmosphere to relax, eat your food, and talk with a friend.
Best chicken place in Alexandria, and the sauce is the best!!!!!!! Hope they get more business than they do cause they rock!!!
The best Damn chicken I've ever tasted.. and their burgers and just about everything else is freshly made great food! I'll be coming back again�

First time going, and I'd expect nothing less from a mom and pop restaurant � The staff were very kind, the facility was very clean, and the prices were reasonable. For $6 and some pocket change I got a big cheeseburger, fries, and a nice size drink. It was all very tasty and I almost couldn't finish it. I'm a satisfied customer �
Ordered for the office. I had a cheeseburger. Not disappointed at all. Will be back to try the chicken.
Food was hot and good will make it a permanent spot to visit weekly.

Darrel's has some GOOD FRIED CHICKEN! The shrimp poboy was tasty and well executed, but just not what I am used to in Lafayette.
She really liked the BLT. OH YEAH, the shakes are awesome! I had a peanut butter and chocolate one, and enjoyed every sip! French fries were pretty darn good also!

They need to increase the tonnage of their to a/c, it can't keep up with the temps since g global warming started kicking out butts!
Polite workers, fresh food, and quantity for price is amazing during these times during EVERY visit no matter the day or time. A MUST to visit! If its wrong, they will correct it with a smile and apology.
During the previous flooding, they were one of few restaurants to remain open to serve the community. Cuddos for that as well! Try the DM burger 🍔, the tenders ( Darrells sauce), or the catfish with seasoned fries 🍟!
Their fried chicken is the biggest and best in town. Their nuggets and strips are made fresh in-house. A mom and pop chicken joint between raising canes and chick filet, and across from Popeyes. They are definitely best of the best and worth a try.
Those double meat hamburgers are very tasty and always fresh. My kids love their chicken nuggets b/c they are made out of real chicken. If you want fresh and homemade this is your place❤
Darrell’s is a great local restaurant with small selection of good food. My favorite is the DM Cheeseburger with seasoned fries and drink. Please add Darrell sauce to dip everything.
We ordered burgers, fries and chicken livers. If you like those you'll love it here. Livers were cooked so tender, just right. Burgers were good burgers and the fries were great.
A local favorite for fried chicken, burgers, and other great traditional American food. I've never met anyone that doesn't enjoy Darrell's. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Friendly staff and convenient locations make for a pleasurable experience every time.
