Delicious homemade authentic Syrian food. Also a small deli and many staple items for local customers cant get to supermarket. Can eat here but seating consists of two tables. If you have time youll find very friendly family owners. I recommend letting owner & chef Helen discover your tastes and hand pick foods to sample from menu. Clean, cozy, friendly, delicious restaurant/deli.

Middle Eastern food at this location - very tasty. I like it here, great food & service. The staff was helpful and kind. The bill was fair I would say. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I loved.

We stopped here for a quick bite while in Allentown. We were craving middle eastern food. This is possibly the best tasting falafel I’ve ever had in the United States. Great kabab sandwiches as well as hummus and baba ghanouj. The place has only a couple tables and it’s mostly a take out deli. I’m looking forward to stop by again and sample some of their other sandwiches.

My wife and I were passing by, quite hungry and we saw a corner deli/convenience store. Or at least that is what it seemed like from the outside. An hour later, we walked out, our tummies and hearts content with the food and hospitality that we just had the privilege to experience. New Deli Corner is the very definition of hole in the wall. When you enter the establishment, you will be immediately welcomed in by the warmest people you shall ever meet, anywhere. Run by a wonderful Syrian family who delivers usual deli fare and familiar Syrian food. Their Falafel, Arnabit (fried cauliflower with a home made sauce), Kibbeh (Fried Bulgur/cracked wheat, with minced onions and ground meat) can give the more established Syrian restaurants in Allentown a run for their money. They are in short, delicious. In fact, I will go on record to claim that their kibbeh and falafel are the best around. We have been here about 4 times and each time our meal ended with sheer bliss. Our last experience was what differentiates a common restaurant from the potential extraordinary. We entered the deli and realized that the owners was having some sort of family dinner on two of the 5 tables in the small eating area. We were just about to apologize and tell them that we could come back later, when we were invited to join them for dinner. The head chef Hilaneh, who is one of the sweetest persons you will meet, had made peppers and eggplants stuffed with lamb with rice and semolina. One bite and we were pleading her to put it on the menu. It was absolutely delicious. Along with that we ordered our usual Falafel, Arnabit and Kibbeh. A side of Taboulleh came free with our order. It was a beautiful experience. When we left, Hilaneh promised us to make some authentic Syrian dishes the week after, if we called ahead. And so we left, with happy hearts and feeling luckier than we could ever imagine. Yelpers! Allentown/Lehigh Valley residents! Give this place a try. You will never regret it. And please, before people start giving this place terrible reviews complaining of slow service, lack of menu options or vegan/gluten free options, I should mention, this is not a traditional restaurant. It is a deli serving limited Syrian fare. But whatever they make, they make it perfect. So, come with an open mind and leave happy. You have my word!

I think I've been to this place 5 days straight lol. I like the food, tastes like homemade. Found myself hooked on the kebbeh, baklava, and mejadra. The banana bread is good also. Vegetarians are catered which is a plus.

The food is amazing. We had falafel, hummus & vegetarian kibbe. The falafel is a big sandwich. The owners are friendly and down to earth. Will go back again.
