We had a lovely dinner experience at Kohinoor tonight. Willy was our server and he did a fantastic job. He patiently explained the various dishes, the spices used, and how they were prepared. He offered recommendations and was spot on with his suggestions. We loved everything that we ate (see pictures). We'll definitely be back!
Kohinoor is EASILY one of the very best Indian restaurants in all of Orlando! I love Indian food and I have been to a LOT of different restaurants and this is one of the very best. Kohinoor has some of the best Indian dishes I’ve ever tried, has incredible service, and has the best pricing I have seen anywhere! BE SURE to try this place out during their lunch buffet - they have a different menu every day of the week, and Monday-Thursday it’s only $14 per person! Less than $10 per person if you’re ordering take-away…for the quality of food you’re getting, it’s an incredible deal!!
Kohinoor has the best tandoori chicken I have ever tasted, some of the best rice pudding I’ve ever tried, and their aloo pakora (basically a fried potato) is completely addicting…I had way too much of that, haha! Their butter chicken is also incredible, and we really liked their shahi paneer. Honestly, everything was extremely flavorful and so, so good! It might not be the biggest buffet in the world, but at least each option is REALLY good, and if you try everything, you’ll still be stuffed. I love that they are constantly rotating their menu every day, so you can come all the time and try something different.
They bring fresh naan to your table with the lunch buffet, and it’s great, classic buttery naan. The regular menu also has a great selection of dishes including regional dishes you don’t find at other Indian restaurants! Also, a special nod to the people working at Kohinoor - they are so friendly and happy and really a joy to be around! They have great employees here. I can’t wait to come back! I will be back very soon!!

My husband and I decided to have brunch at this Indian restaurant. Kohinoor was outstanding 😁 The food was Soo delicious 😋 and fresh. Everything melted in our mouths, the cold dishes as well as the hot choice and the lentil sweet dessert was phenomenal 🤩
Willy was such a gentleman who provided an excellent customer service 🙏 The ambient was calm and perfect for any occasion.. The price was fair and the location very easy to find. I truly recommend this fantastic place, if you want to enjoy one the best Indian food in town😁😋💜
A quiet place with very authentic, good quality food. I have come quite a few times in my life and the food is consistently excellent and you are always treated extremely well. Every time I am in Orlando I do my best to stop by this 10/10 gem. Definitely recommend!
The food is SO. GOOOOOOOOOOD. The service was so attentive and welcoming too!! The atmosphere felt authentic, and when the food came out it really sealed the authenticity. The portions are nice to share with great friends :) if you come here to experience amazing Indian cuisine, that’s what you’ll get! My friends and I chose to have our spice level as medium and we loved the kick!! (Just to reiterate: we didn’t like the food, we LOVED IT)
Phenomenal Indian in Altamonte Springs! Came here for lunch buffet and was absolutely blown away. Small but cozy restaurant. Very clean and charmingly decorated. Candied fennel seeds at the front door. A hot and cold bar. Multiple Chutneys mild and sweet to medium and hot. Everything was very fresh and flavorful.
The tandoori chicken was excellent! And the Paneer was perfect. Our servers were very attentive and kind and checked on our table multiple times and always quickly gave us refills.
The goat biryani was one of the best I've ever had. The goat was very tender and easy to pick off the small bones. The butter chicken and the chicken Korma both had chicken breast but it was so soft and tender. Not tough or dry at all!
I tried every single dish they had to offer at their buffet and all of it impressed me and my friends that I brought. They served us hot freshly made Naan as well. I ended the meal with THE BEST. Mango Lassi I have ever had. I could have ordered 12 if I wasn't so stuffed from my meal.
Fantastic meal. Fantastic service. Fantastic food. Fantastic price. Will definitely be coming back here.
5star Indian cuisine all the way. My first time today here and loved everything! I had the lunch buffet, everything tasted great. Nice to know the chefs here know about other spices other than just mirch 😅. I decided not to leave empty handed and order takeout $150 worth. Awesome, you have a return customer. Thank you for the friendly service and great tasting food. 🙌🏽👏🏽
After completing an intense workout, I was starving and wanted to eat right away, but I didn't want fast food. I decided to check this place out for their lunch buffet & they did not disappoint! They had a nice variety of things to choose from. Everything was very fresh. My favorite was the goat biryani, the rice was so flavorful & the goat was nice and tender. I definitely had seconds! The naan bread is made fresh and your waiter brings it to the table. Plenty of sauces to choose from. The kind gentleman at the check out counter explained that the lunch buffet is everyday from 11:15am-2:30pm (except for Monday when they're closed) he also said that the buffet items rotate, which I thought was pretty cool. A couple of extremely popular dishes such as the butter chicken are on the buffet every day, but the other items switch out depending on the day. The best part about coming here is that I was able to try a variety of dishes I may have normally been afraid to totally commit to, the buffet allowed me to experiment with some of those dishes. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to returning on other days of the week!!
We had a tomato soup, chicken tikka masala, makhani sauce and garlic Naan. Everything was so delicious, level of spice was just right for us. We got even more rice which was included in the price of the meal chicken tikka Masala. Everything was perfect - the meals, atmosphere and awesome service!! Loved it so much. ❤️
Wonderful Indian Buffet outside of Orlando, Willy our waiter was fantastic. This was such a wonderful surprise on our vacation and we're so glad that we found it. The lunch buffet was around $16-17 per person and very well worth it.
Everything was flavorful and appropriately spicy, not so hot that you couldn't enjoy it, but hot enough that you know you're eating Indian food. My 7 year old is an Indian food fanatic and gave it two thumbs up.
The atmosphere was relaxing, but casual for lunch, but I could easily see this being a nice spot for a dinner date. My only regret is that I'm not a local so I'll have to wait until the next time I'm in town to come back!
