Delicious food, excellent staff! The crab cakes are just great!! The steak was very tasty and this S’mores brownie was an absolute dream.

One of my favorite local restaurants! It's a great spot for fine dining: think date nights, taking friends from out of town, etc. I highly recommend the crab cakes as an appetizer and the ribeye or filet mignon as the main dish.

On our anniversary we always visit Gentelin's. I always order the roast 1/2 duck; Renee orders the scallops and risotto. Our dinner is always perfect. Salads are served on a cold plate. The roast duck skin is always brown and crispy. The creamed potatoes with cauliflower is sumptous. The Caeser salad with thyme is awesome - the chef cuts up the romaine leaves and the salad is mostly leaves and a few spine pieces.
Overall, Great food, Great waitress, Warm atmosphere. Prices are expensive but in line with most finer restaurants. Figure $100.00 for two with tip included if you don't order mixed drinks or wine. It's worth it - we look forward to celebrating our anniversary at Gentelin's. This is our 45th! Hopefully, we'll celebrate many more!

Fantastic food and service. Everything was delicious!! Very cozy. It was nice to sit by the fireplace.
The food is terrific! The staff are attentive. The restaurant appearance is very nice. The price is high but certainly worth it. Would have given 5 stars had the tables not been quite so crammed in. Worst experience was loud, obnoxious man across from us, not the places fault.
We would certainly come again. I would request a table by the window to feel like there is more space. You really should make a reservation.
