Visited Altoona and got in late. Most everywhere else was closed so I opted for Papa John’s. Please forgive me as I forget the gentleman’s name who took my delivery order but he was very pleasant, personable and patient with me. I ordered 30 plain chicken poppers with BBQ on the side. 40 minutes (as he said it would be) they arrived. WOW! They were amazing! I’ve had Dominoes and where I live, they are horrible. I’m going to try the Poppa John’s near me. I hope they’re as wonderful. Great Job Altoona Poppa John’s!
We just ordered a pizza, and we had to go to sheetz to break a big bill we had for a tip. He ended up getting to our apartment before we got back, and he called us while we were in the store to let us know he’s there. We explained that we’ll be there in about 3 ish minutes and he didn’t hesitate to wait for us! I wish I knew his name to give!
The pizza came faster then expected. It was exactly how we ordered it. Plus it was hot. I wish there more deals for medium size parties. But other then that next time we visit PA I definitely will be ordering from them. A must try is the Philly cheesesteak pizza. Omg it was mouth watering.
