Not real clean. Food was slow after we ordered, and the fries were not real warm, but the battered fish was good.
We passed this place and realized we hadn't eaten in here in over 15 years. The food was fresh and tasted really good. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely stop by again if we're in the area.
Everyone is so friendly here! The same manager has been at this location for as long as I can remember since my parents and I had moved to the area as a child, and it shows he knows how to run his business and keep his employees happy. The food is great as always and served in a timely fashion!
The lobster bites were amazing. The food was great, the service was very good. The only complaint is the bathrooms were kind of nasty.
Food is pretty good. I just wish there was a location closer to me. Also, if I have one complaint it's that they didn't give me the hush puppies that come with the order and I didn't realize until I got home. That was a bummer
For me not being a seafood person i have to say captain D’s is the best seafood place in alvin
This place is awesome! There aren’t many Captain D’s around but I couldn’t ask for a better one close to me. Food is always hot and when you ask for condiments they are not stingy.
Have not been here in awhile. Got the 2 piece fish meal, really tasted good, will be back.
The young lady that was working the drive thru was very friendly. Made being in the drive-thru, an extremely pleasant experience. Thankful !!
I normally get the two pieces of fish from the fish sandwich, à la carte and the tartar sauce for a snack. I am diabetic, so I avoid too much bread.
The building is worn, but don't let that fool you. The place is clean and the food is really good. The fries came out tasting only of potato and really clean. I had the chicken tenders and they are really good as well. I have a shellfish allergy and some of these places are a risk, but I had no reaction to my meal. My husband had the lobster ultimate and enjoyed it. The broccoli side was cooked perfect.
The food was delicious . They did not overcook it and did not taste like burnt fry oil. My wife is allergic to shellfish and was able to eat the chicken tenders without any problems. The service was great and the restaurant was busy. The tables were clean and so was the rest of the restaurant.
Value service and appearance great for a store that has been around for a while the manager here is freaking amazing I will definitely be making another trip out this far thank you for the incredible wonderful service today
