I consider myself an Indian food snob after being exposed to it at a very early age. This place is fantastic. My wife brought me home dinner tonight and all I can say is "flavor overload". This quaint place in Amarillo Texas rivals some of the best Indian food restaurants in Southern California. This hidden gem is now on the top of my business lunch lists when entertaining clients.

This is the place you want to eat!!! So delicious. Perfect blend of spicy to tangy! Samosas were too good!! We asked for recommendation for the best vegetarian dish and the owner was very friendly and explained different dishes off the menu! We got a chickpea masala and another dish that was amazing. We ended up sharing bc we couldn't pick which we liked more! Decided to get the donuts at the end, which are an interesting texture but great flavor! I can see why everyone leaves raving reviews!!

I am addicted to the food they serve. Especially the “Jat Burger” and “Veggie Rolls”. They have mastered the art of giving the best customer service and are always very welcoming. This place will always be on priority list! I highly recommend this place to all foodies in and around Amarillo.

What a wonderful discovery! I can't say enough good about this charming place. The owners are genuinely friendly and kind. The naan is heavenly - light and fluffy as a cloud. The samosas will make you shed tears of joy! We had Buriyani with steak - mouth-watering with just the right amount of heat - and butter chicken - also delicious. Finished with a Mango Lassi - mmm! I really regret not trying the Chai. There is a drive through. Also there are 2 outdoor areas to sit: one is outdoors with about 6 tables, a second adjoining area is a very nicely decorated covered screened-in area with heaters and 3 separate tables which seat approximately 16 people. Amarillo is extremely blessed to have this restaurant! Thank you for being here, Punjabi Affair!

It was Yelp recommended so we had to stop. Ordered at the window and sat on the patio. Good value for two great meals. The 9 Veg Korma was to die for. The butter curry was also good, but I'd go back tomorrow for the Korma. Loved the naan as well and the sweet lady running the place was helpful and kind. Totally try it. You just have to. Oh. so. good.

It's menu is small but perfect. The tandoori chicken was juicy and packed w flavor. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The rice pudding, was light and just the right amount of sweetness. Go check it out. Even on a cold night the patio heaters kept us warm.

In town from Fort Worth we searched for a locally owned restsurant for dinner. The food was exceptional, the covered patio was delightful, and the proprietors were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this establishment.

Tried this place for the first time today, and I'll definitely be back. We were surprised by the large portions, and the patio is very relaxing. The food? Amazing.

Has the most flavor and great proportions. The naan is so good, not overly dry or tough. I wish they would open a place in Canyon! We love coming here.

I'm an Englishman abroad and Indian food is pretty much our national dish back home so finding Indian food was a welcome surprise! Great quality, food is beautifully spiced with a wonderful mix of heat and delicate flavours. Very friendly service and a real taste of India!

This is our favorite place! If we have a date-night, we're eating from here. I like a samosa with a chicken roll, personally. Tyler swears by the samosa, steak roll, and butter chicken. There's no bad choice, though! Best food in Amarillo!

This was my first time trying Punjabi Affair. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! First of all, just waiting in the drive thru had my mouth watering, I could not wait to try it, the smells were so intoxicating! By the time I made it home I had already finished a Samosa , awesome flavor and the heat was perfect. Sat down with the Hubby and had the Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken and Nakh-Rah Naan. He was so happy I didn't stop at Chick-fil-A as he had previously asked me too. ïżœ Plenty of food left for later. Only one complaint, the gentleman had tied the to-go bags in a not so easy to un-tie knot that made it hard for me to break into while driving. However I managed ïżœ

Amazing place! Great flavors and spices! Will probably go back tomorrow 😆 It's a walk up stand with some seating on a deck and decently enclosed to let air flow through while retaining the warmth from the heaters. There's also fans for the summer. Also, the owner is a great guy! Love supporting this place. If you're thinking about going, just do it!

Located at the heart of Amarillo, food was decent if not great. Something (Indian food)is better then nothing (Indian food). Food was prepared pretty soon, there were handful of varieties in the menu. It’s a self service and drive thru restaurant. There are limited space of parking and dining. Prices were decent. Paisa vasool. Dining there was no AC , it’s fan and cooler system. Good for quick bite.

My fiancĂ© and I ate here to try Indian food. We had Butter Chicken Curry, Biri-Yani, Samosas with Chai Tea and Mango Las-See. The seating had a nice authentic feel to the restaurant. The staff is friendly. The chai tea was served very hot so I had to let it cool off for much time before I could really drink it. Overall we really liked the place and would recommend it to anyone looking for good authentic Indian food while they’re in Amarillo.

We stopped by this tiny place while driving to Colorado from Texas and were pleasantly surprised with the taste of the food. Although the food was great, it was priced higher than what we were used too. Also, this is more of a take out place. No AC in the seated eating area, which could get hot. This is exactly what happened when we visited, and was exacerbated due to the loss of electricity; It was hot and humid and greatly diminished our experience.

I hadn’t had Indian food since I moved back from Japan a couple years back- so this was such a treat! The staff are very nice and willing to explain food items from their menu. I got the butter chicken curry, my husband got the chicken “roll” and for my son, I got the tandoori chicken. All of which was so good! We also got the ginger mint lemonade and rice pudding. I really wish I gotten a second lemonade before leaving because it was that good! Overall great!!!

What can I say about this delicious Indian Restaurant located in Amarillo. The food was outstanding along with the quick service. We had the Butter Chicken, The Lamb Curry and the yummy Nan Bread. My family and I were traveling from Houston to visit the local State Park and came based on the great reviews. We were not disappointed. If you are ever in the area, do not hesitate to come here. There is a nice heated enclosed area to eat that was lovely.
