Great local place for drinks, beer, and a bite to eat. Bartenders are excellent and remember you by name. We were in one afternoon and chatting with Dylan at the bar. The following week, we returned and he remembered our names, putting them on the check. A little customer service goes a long way!!

Aaron the bartender knows how to make a mean mix drink even if it's not on the menu. I'm impressed. Do come here while he's working here. Deserves a promotion!

Overpriced but good food. The burgers used to be almost twice the size of what they are now, and more flavorful. I'd say they're still good but they're so small it's hard to tell. The menu is creative and the dishes are well-executed with small portions. It feels out of place in this college area, but maybe not for Amherst college students (for those out of town: Amherst college students are rich).

Great atmosphere and really good food. Some may find it too dim inside. The only real downside is the service is sometimes slow, and occasionally the waiters/waitresses are not very friendly or helpful. But all in all a great place to grab a burger and delicious fries, along with an awesome beer selection!

Love this place. Unbelievable nachos!! Great waitstaff, fun for a night out or a sit down meal. Such a fun and relaxed atmosphere. By far my favorite bar in Amherst and it is right in the center of town. Good prices on food and drinks, variety of options for seating and location, GREAT outside seating in the summer.

Pricey for students but great cozy and hip atmosphere. The nachos and buffalo brussel sprouts were good--have heard the poutine is delicious too. I had a ginger libation, a ginger cider that's originally from Western Mass if I'm not mistaken. Would definitely recommend for a nice night out, especially in the summer with the outdoor terrace. Legend has it that prices are slightly cheaper on the top floor than the bottom (two separate outdoor entrances)--haven't verified it myself, but heard from a prof.

I like the bar better than the restaurant. The food takes a long time sometimes but it's good often. My fav. are the nachos! They also have this beer cup that one can win after that person manages to try all their beers. ( Don't quote me on the details, just ask the bartender)

Solid burgers and other American food, the bottomless fries are great too. The brews are pretty solid too. All that paired with nice ambience, and it is a pleasant place to grab a bit and enjoy a brew.
