Choose to come here next; just fabulous!
Our first time here and they couldn’t have left a better impression!
We were seated immediately (weekday around 12:30 pm) in a lower lit, dark wood ambiance (still plenty of light to read menu!) and although full of people, we were able to hear each other easily. My guy uses a cane and there was enough room for him to comfortably maneuver which is always appreciated. Overall, a really great vibe. Also has outdoor patio seating with excellent shade and misters.
Our service was five star which was totally unexpected from a stand alone restaurant on the corner of a strip mall. Antonio E. was awesome. We split fancy deviled eggs, savory delicious French onion soup, chopped baby blue wedge, patty melt and good wine. Afterward, they not only boxed our leftovers, they are genius to also label them for you. Upon completion of your meal steaming hot hand towels will be brought out so you may refresh yourself to complete your epic experience.
Looking forward to trying out the Laguna Beach location!
great service but I would not go back. Mixed drinks were not very good per my wife, my draft beer was tasty. The food was a bit bland overall. my pasta needed more sauce and I needed to doctor it with some salt and pepper. My wife had the rosemary chicken and it was decent but nothing special to write home about.
deviled eggs were good but I didn't feel well later that night.
Reunion in Anaheim Hills was the perfect restaurant to have a reunion with my friend visiting from Chicago. They have a shared parking lot with free parking, and it is a large restaurant space with both indoor and outdoor seating. I was able to make a reservation through Yelp, and I do recommend making a reservation, because even though it was a Sunday night, they were still pretty busy. While we were there we saw multiple birthday parties going on. They had a large food menu with options for everyone, from salads to sandwiches and burgers to main entrées.
I went with the Slow Braised Short Ribs ($31.95) with a rich demi-glace, horseradish cream, a large stack of mashed potatoes,
roasted vegetables (zucchini & bell peppers), topped with fried firestick onion straws. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked and the potatoes were creamy and delicious. My friend went with the Blackened Ahi Salad ($28.95) and enjoyed it, but felt that it wasn’t very filling as an entrée.
We were both excited that they use agave straws for all of their beverages instead of paper or plastic. The agave straws have a cool texture, are better for the environment, and don’t dissolve into your drink.
We arrived at 4:30 without a reservation and were seated immediately. Bread pudding was slightly above average.
The food and drinks were excellent the lighting was a little dark, we had a hard time reading the menu
A dimly lit spot with great food!
This is my neighborhood restaurant in Anaheim Hills, and I am grateful to have such an establishment so close to home. Their ingredient is always top knotch and prepared perfectly. Starting from its gourmet hamburgers to a well prepared rib eye steak, I am always delighted to eat here. Service is attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect for an upscale lunch or a night out. Bar is always fully stocked.
It's always pretty crowded, so I would highly recommend a prior reservation.
In short, great spot for good food and drinks and date nights.
With a few more details,
The restaurant location is perfect to cater to Anaheim Hills and Yorba Linda areas. In between and right off the 91 freeway.
The inside is nice intimate lighting and clean and staff were pretty friendly and welcoming.
The food was good and prices were not as high as I expected them to be. Enjoyed the vibe and would definitely come back.
Great food, service and atmosphere. This was my first visit but I'll definitely be back. Much thanks to Topher for the excellent service. The Rosemary Fried Chicken is the bomb!! So are the Mai Tais!
Overall I had a good experience. We made a reservation, and I am glad we did, as it was quite busy when we arrived. We were seated toward the back. I few times I felt cold as they kept the door open as they were bringing out food to the outdoor tables. I enjoyed the chowder as an appetizer and my husband liked his food too. My pasta was unfortunately pretty bland. I would order something else next time. The service was great though and we had a nice evening.
Another date night, another fine restaurant to appease our taste buds. I loved the pork sliders and calamari. The Tartar was good, but I just returned from Europe... And they just do it better. The wife liked her 'Old Fashioned' drink. The ribs were very succulent, and the slaw went well with it.
I've come back to eat here so many times over the last 7 years and every time has been great. I'd advise making a reservation ahead of time because this place is always busy, even on a weekday. The food was great and although it's slightly pricey, the quallty makes up for it. Additionally, the overall service is very good. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.
This is a great place for an amazing meal. The staff were all very friendly and the food is incredibly good. The slow braised beef ribs were tender and juicy and the sauce was phenomenal. The cocktails are really tasty too. You can't go wrong if you come here for a meal.
Excellent food and experience. Service was attentive. Docked one star just because it was very loud with people talking.
Ordered multiple small plates. Deviled eggs, good, but nothing special. Korean baby back ribs, excellent, worth going back for the ribs alone. Couldn't get enough. And side of slaw really tasty. Bacon wrapped jalapenos, very good. Bacon was crispy and peppers had some heat. Still what you'd expect from well done stuffed peppers. Finally Ahi poke stack. Lots of flavor. Second best beginner the ribs.
For the entree, had the Ahi tuna salad. Lots of flavor in a salad definitely worth ordering again.
I'd go back when in town.
Had lunch there today 11/14/2023. We had Caesar salad with chicken and poke bowl with rice. Both were excellent. Poke bowl had raw tuna cubes (very tasty) and chicken in the salad was perfectly grilled (not dried, moist). Since we were on our way to a challenging hike, we did not try their drinks. Our server Danilo was professional and courteous. Next time we are in LA, we will definitely have dinner here.
The food and service were really good. The Vanilla Old Fashion and flat iron steak were delicious. I was told their meatless burger patty was very good as well!
My only issue was it was pretty loud and made it hard to have conversation. There was three of us at the table and we had a hard time hearing each other.
Madi was an excellent server....we were a group of 10 and she took care of everything perfectly. We all had different meals and we all enjoyed our food. Only thing was it was quite noisy at lunch and parking was a little difficult.
