Creamy, cool goodness on a hot night, made right in front of your eyes! Plenty of flavor choices (nothing extraordinary though) & toppings! Just choose carefully, toppings are $1 each, on top or mixed in. You can get a regular or large sized cup ... waffle cone... shake... or even affogato!
I was worried this location would be packed because of its proximity to Disneyland, but nope... When we walked in around 10p on a Thursday night... No line! A steady stream of customers but they were working right through them! Only problem is the parking - True nightmare!!! But we were able to inhale our treats at the tables out front, while enjoying the music coming from The Fifth rooftop bar upstairs, and people-watching the surrounding Disney crowd.
It was a great way to end the evening, even though we were "too full" for dessert! :P
I though Cold Stone was awesome until I tried this. Better than Sub Zero, too. Sweet, extremely creamy, and smooth. I had mint and oreo...tasted like a frozen Thin Mint. I will definitely return.
Kids, husband and I all loved it here! Prices were a little high but we were on vacation and know that Disney is not a cheap trip. We went here for some dessert after our dinner and were impressed with both the cleanliness of the shop and most importantly the flavor of the Ice cream – so good! The nitrogen infusion gave the ice cream a great creamy and light texture too. Creamistry is a really good spot if you have a sweet tooth that needs to be satisfied.
Great ice cream, good selection of toppings. Good for novelty visits, too expensive to replace a local ice cream parlor.
Lots of choices for flavors and toppings, including some unique varieties. The taste was good and the ice cream was very smooth and creamy. The actual process of watching them make the ice cream is pretty cool. Unfortunately the prices are noticeably higher than other ice cream stores. We remedied that by sharing a regular size between two people which was more than enough for us.
This place is quite unique. They use nitrogen to freeze the fresh cream to make the ice cream. I am not convinced that the nitrogen is the key, but the fresh cream to me is what makes it so great. You can taste it with every bite. A bit pricey but definitely worth a try at least once.
What a very "cool" experience... Pun intended.. great customer service and explained to this first-timer what NITRO ICE CREAM IS ALL ABOUT!!
Chemistry serves amazingly creamy ice cream, custom flavors and toppings to fit your mood. They use nitrogen to quickly freeze the cream making this a fun place to take kids - fun little show. Since I'd is went, every one for something different, and to everyone's surprise, the Fruity Pebble mix in choice was the winner - just wow good!
The ice cream is made with liquid nitrogen right in front of you and makes the texture very smooth and creamy (this process does mean you can't try samples beforehand, however). As it's fairly expensive and even the smallest size is somewhat large, sharing is a good option here.
Good ice cream (another one of the nito-freeze on the spot places) but the toppings are just kind of broken up into big chunks and not much thought is given to the flavor combinations, instead allowing the customers to pick from various lists of base flavors and toppings.
For 5 star ice cream like this try smitten.
