Just sensational BBQ in the Anaheim area. Loved that it produced such good food from a very neat industrial estate area. Has the plate with brisket pork ribs and beef ribs. Omg the pork was awesome. Didn't rate the Mac and cheese though. Beans were great. Staff were excellent to us and our kids as well.
Simply put. Damn good Q! Nothing fancy, no fake antiques, no big country barn appearance . Just damn good Q! I had the rib and sausage platter with slaw and beans and walked away full and happy. It was very tasty and the staff was super friendly. If I lived in the area I'd go there more often.

Definitely one of the best independent BBQ places in OC. They do a lot of sandwich business as they are located in an industrial area and do a big lunch business. The sandwich sample is a good deal as you get 3 smaller sandwiches with 3 different meats. Even the salads are solid.
I had Tasha's BBQ Trio Sampler It includes three sandwiches Including pulled Pork, Choped Beef Brisket, Pulled Chicken on a French roll with a side of coleslaw. All of their meats are marinated in their own barbecue sauce. And they were all tender and tasted great. Their prices are good for the large amount of meat you get. So I will come here again whatever I'm near them & want great barbecue!
A little out of the way but worth the search. Blake's is certainly not the greatest BBQ around, but it is certainly great. They're doing something right over there since they've been open since the late 80s. The BBQ here is smoked low and slow and all meats are seasoned well so what you get is a quality product that will keep you coming back (like me.)
The meats are all well seasoned and cooked, tender, juicy, and fall off the bone (if there is one of course!)
They have combo platters as well as sandwiches and salads so something for everyone.
They have many types of homemade sauces to add to your dish if you like.
Service is impeccable and more often than not the owner or one of the managers will come to your table to receive feedback (my guess is that it will be positive!)
I have always managed to find parking in this industrial location and I'm confident you will too!

Great BBQ!. This is deffinitly one of the better BBQ places in Orange county. I ordered the pulled pork plate with baked beans and mac and cheese and a plate of onion rings for the table. The portions were very generous and everything tasted great. I also really liked the bbq sauce, it was tangy and not to sweet. I will deffinitly be going back again and again.
Ordered several sandwiches: pulled pork, pulled chicken, sliced brisket, sliced pork, & sliced turkey. Great flavors. And though I prefer pulled meats with sauce on the side, here the sauce is not overpowering. The sliced sandwiches were all solid though we preferred the brisket well above the others. Decent fries too. Friendly service. We will go back. 7.5 / 10
Great out of the way BBQ. The food here is excelent! Its definitly one of the best kept secrets in this town. Lots of Celebs find thier way in here for some good food and a look at the Ladies. Unfortunitly some bike clubs hang out here too. Not the good old boys the Transvesbike crap rockets.
Anyways your looking at brisket, Pulled pork or sausage that is smoked low and slow! I'm going to be honest I have a hard time ordering and frankly do not aprove of places that require you to order a-la-cart. Overall I havn't had BBQ this good outside of texas. Prices $7-12
In 1987, Gene Hobel graduated from the Culinary Institute of San Francisco and started working in numerous restaurants. But his dream to open his own restaurant was not too far away. Im pregnant and was craving some BBQ. This place popped up on google and I went for it because it has so many different options. I got the 2 meat plate for beef, brisket and barbecue chicken. My sides were mac & cheese and potato salad. I added a side of Cole slaw to see what it tastes like. We also got banana pudding didn’t get a picture.
The service was good 😊 very nice. The place was clean we took our food to go. The potato salad, garlic bread, and coleslaw were delicious. The Mac and cheese really needed to be elevated. Some seasoning and some real cheese would take that Mac and cheese to the next level. You can tell It’s made of a pre made liquid can cheese. It is ok but not the best. The banana pudding was pretty good. It was very heavy on the pudding and lacked the banana and cookies. In the whole container it was about 4-5 bananas pieces and 4-5 cookies. Again adding more to it would really elevate the dish.
As for the meat. The meat was A1. The smoke on the Chicken was perfect, super juicy and delicious. The brisket so soft and juicy as well. I absolutely loved the BBQ sauce. We loved it so much we went back the next day for more 😂.
Great bbq and other food. We got the brisket ceasar salad and the brisket bbq salad. Both were excellent. We have also had them cater a party at our house and everyone enjoyed the food.
I had the smoked meat & rib plate, with an up charge of $2.00 for baby back ribs, plus a large soda - total was $31.00. The ribs were very good, flavorful and tender. I had the chopped brisket, which was a mistake as it was very salty! Beans, coleslaw and garlic bread are the sides. The beans were OK, not bad but not great, but the coleslaw was flavorless... Actually had an odd taste. Did they forget the dressing?? Anyway, this was my first time and I'll give it another try but I'll get the brisket sliced and try the potato salad instead. I like the atmosphere and the employees are very friendly and helpful.

Located in a business park...this place is a stand out. The food was excellent and so is the staff! Loved having Blake come by our table to chat, such amazing people working here. The very best barbeque beans I've ever had as well as the potato salad....don't even get me going on about the ribs! Don't forget when you stop by to grab one of their desserts. I got the banana pudding...delish and enough to share with a friend or 2.
My wife and I each ordered a brisket burrito and they were delicious! A very generous portion of brisket. Brisket was perfectly cooked and juicy. A little tangy with not too much heat. Loved the avocado, salsa and cheeses. Felt like it weighed about a pound. We will definitely be back.
Authentic BBQ. My husband is not loose with his praise for bbq. But he loved this place very authentic. We believe you truly taste before you sauce. And it passes that test. I was raised on central coast bbq so I don't usually like bbq sauce. But their's is really good. We got the 3 sandwich sample plate, half slab baby back plate, brisket no sides and the chicken wings. All were wonderful really smokey not fatty at all. My husband loved the sliced Turkey sandwich the best. So much we asked the owner if the do whole Turkey for Thanksgiving. Definitely try this place!
It's been a long time since I have had food frome Blake's. And I must have forgot how Great the BBQ is here. Because the Food was even better then I remember. My Beautiful Wife and I really loved this Place. Keep up the good work.
Got the ssndwich sampler of pork, brisket, and turkey. Wife and kids got a full rack of baby bsck ribs and cant wait to comeback. Nice low key bbq joint. Blake and crew did a really good meal tonight.
