The food there was absolutely delicious and fresh. You get two types of fries both of them are flavorful. The meat is very well, seasoned and cooked, and still juicy service Staff was absolutely amazing we were checked on regularly and our drinks were refilled. that was our second time dining there and the quality of the service was consistent. I would highly recommend this place you should totally stop by .toward the end of our dining experience we were offered delicious Arabian coffee. It was strong and just what we needed to drive back home.
Food was absolutely delicious and they have a really comfortable atmosphere there. Servers were all very friendly! The lamb was better than some restaurants that I’ve spent over $200 per person at and it was only like $30!? I was incredibly impressed and def will be coming back here again and again
Such a wonderful place for a nice dinner. Sam was so sweet and very attentive to our table. The food was cooked to perfection. Would definitely come here again.

After a very long day at Universal Studios Hollywood, we were ready to stuff ourselves with some good ol' fashion Middle Eastern food (As one typically does after Universal 🤔).
We ordered the Desert Moon Mixed Grill (our go-to dish) and kibbeh (minced meat base) for appetizers. They served us with fresh out of the oven Pita bread, and a side of Hummus (chickpeas base 🧆) & Baba Ghanouj (eggplant base 🍆). Both dishes creamy, screaming yummy in our tummies.
Our main course, serving a mix of Lamb, beef, and chicken, with a side of rice and garlic dipping sauce. To keep things simple. The 🐔 was good, the 🐑 was good, the 🍖 🐮 was good, and finally, the 🍚, was good. All good, bringing our day to a very plentiful end, and we all lived happily ever after.
They have plenty of items on the menu, enough for all kinds of people with all kinds of different tastes. The staff will happily recommend something for you if you are unable to decide. Just go there and try it atleast once. If you're disappointed, well, you only have yourself to blame (=
Absolutely love the food, atmosphere, and the extremely nice servers. Had the hummus, mini samosas and chicken tawook. It was juicy and delicious.
Amazing place, if you really want to taste authentic and delicious middle eastern food this is the place. Hummus here is so good perfect ingredients combination, served with fresh baked pita bread. Grilled meat plates are so flavorful, salads are very tasty my favorite is the Mediterranean Salad. I always drink the hot mint tea is served really hot and I always ask for extra mint leaves. Their staff always courteous and helpful besides all this great service the place is amazing, is beautifully decorated and very cozy.
Update Oct 2023, I think this place is under new administration, there's more staff, the service is faster, the food still same excellent quality, more reasons to come here often!
Desert Moon? Definitely a top pick for Mediterranean food. Prices? Pretty good and you get a bang for your buck. The food's not just tasty but also has that genuine, fresh vibe. Plus, they dish out the perfect amount - fills you up nicely without going overboard. It’s a cool spot for some Mediterranean flavors.
Best hummus I’ve had hands done, authentic food! Friendly staff, excellent service. Mixed grill is sufficient and can be shared.
