After a long day of going out to Disneyland we decided to eat tacos. Looked up some reviews and saw that the happy tacos was really close by. Small ambience friendly people. Our group ordered a couple tacos I personally ordered three Asada and al pastor both meets were very good. In addition, the sauces were very spicy, I recommend the orangey looking one was very spicy. Definitely will recommend this place for anyone looking for a authentic Mexican place to eat. I don't know it

I finally convinced my boyfriend to stop at this tiny taco place a few weeks ago after years of going to Escalante across the street. I am so glad he finally agreed! This place is delicious! The meat is always fresh and everything tastes authentic! I absolutely love their al pastor tacos made with pineapple! Stuck between a 7-11 and a dry cleaner, this is truly a hidden gem! 🖒🖒🖒 UPDATE:: 10/23/17 This place gets 5 stars for their tacos but 1 star for their customer service. I love their al pastor tacos with pineapple and its a true disappointment when I get home with my order to find the sweet pineapple missing. When I call to make them aware of this, I'm asked to come back so they can fix my order, I'm sorry but I am not driving back out when I've already done so once, my order should have been made right the first time. It goes to mention that this is not the only time this has happened with my tacos, enough is enough. I was eventually told by Jasmine that I could come in another night that week and receive new tacos free of charge. When I went back in and spoke to another employee, Jessica, she made me feel as though I was lying about the missing pineapple, as though it were my fault and was just bitchy about the whole thing. I was told more than once that if it happens again I need to drive back and receive new tacos, but that is ridiculous. You need to get your customer's orders correct the first time and if they are not satisfied, do all you can to make them so.

For my first time visit, I bought soft beef taco (carne asada) taste so good, and can have variety of free green and red sauces, and the beans, the radish and the cucumber, just love this small place. On Lincoln right off the 57 Fwy, next to 7/11 store, across Arco gasoline.

One of the best tacos in the OC. but Don't take my word for it. Try it for yourself so you can confirm my acusation. Take a trip through the 57 freeway get off on Lincoln Go in and order the tacos De tripa extra crispy. Go to the salsa bar pick out your favorite salsa and by the time you sit down you well on your way to trying the best tacos in the OC.

After my mom's cooking this place takes it! I refuse to eat any Mexican food unless is authenthic. Their tacos de tripa are delicious specially when you spice it up with their green salsa. The only thing I would ask is for a bigger establishment finding a table can b a little od a hassel.

This is my second time coming, great location, awesome staff, and amazing food. Tacos are their specialty, of course, but their Carne Asada fries are also A1. Thank you for the high quality experience.

Been here multiple times and continue to love the food. Al pastor sopes are my absolute favorite. The meat itself is cooked well. And the people who work there are friendly. I understand that sometimes they get straight to the point and as someone who works in customer service, that’s completely understandable. They get the job done and the food cooked and that’s what matters.

My wife and I started coming here a year ago and it's my favorite taco spot at the moment. They have a great salsa bar and the tacos come out just how you order them. Definitely recommend the tacos de "buche" bien dorados(well done) 👍 also if you're feeling adventurous try the al pastor wet burrito. Best part is that they have a daily deal for all those foodies out there.. Another great experience!

My first visit to VIP tacos. Convenient location on Lincoln just east of 57 freeway. Small establishment, and a little on the warm side. However, the food is fantastic. Had sopes, which is $1.99 on Sundays. Also had chorizon tacos, meat a little well done but still delicious with the hand made corn tortillas. They had a pot of pinto beans which was a great addition to the tacos. Wide selection of fountain and bottled drinks. There is also a salsa bar. Would recommend and will be returning. Update: Made a quick stop at VIP tacos for a breakfast burrito. The chorizo breakfast burrito is a definite home run. It's not greasy and the perfect amount of beans and rice. Not too often do I love chorizo breakfast burritos. Dont live close but will definitely return. FYI, try their corn tortillas. Wow!

Food: Taco Tuesday! The tacos are $1.50 on Taco Tuesday. These tacos are not the small street tacos but are full sized tacos! Whatever type of meat you get, the tacos are stuffed to the brim and wrapped in a homemade corn tortilla. I got carne asada, chicken and el pastor. My favorite was the carne asada and el pastor. Service: Customer Service was great! The place was packed and my order got skipped. The manager saw that my order was immediately next and gave me a free tall bottle of Coke (the Mexican sort with sugarcane and not corn syrup). He was apologetic and invited me back. Final thought: I have been back and it's my offical Taco Tuesday spot! Be warned, it does get busy. I need to try their burritos!

I have to be honest. Food is fresh always a plus. But I order chorizo nachos and I tasted more rice than anything. The saving grace was that they had beans you can serve yourself and their salsa bar was awesome. A++++ to their pickled habanero onions. Simple fix use beans instead of rice

I 100% recommend getting the sopes from here. They taste amazing, the size of the sopes are big and definitely worth the price. The beans and tortillas have homemade fresh taste and the ingredients are not skimped.

Went in on a Wednesday to try this place out. I was in the area. Wednesday had a special and it was a burrito for 3.99. We all got a burrito that day instead of tacos. I felt like Oprah. They have great condiment options. They have gloves for you to put on while you get the salsas, beans, veggies with. Habanero pico de gallo is fire. Freejoles. Free beans. Great with the avocado salsa. Burritos were filling. Service was great. The cashier let my daughter try the tripas. Very tasty. Can't wait to try thier taco Tuesday.

Small neighborhood hole in the wall. Very good tacos and very reasonably priced. The food was fresh and tasty. My only complaint is maybe that it is a tad small. It was pretty busy inside there so it was very packed. The various salsas have a nice habenero kick to them. 4 tacos (decent size) cost like $8 and I'm a good eater and it was the right amount of food.

Chorizo tacos are the best - VIP delicious! Chicken tacos are moist and flavorful. Go during their taco Tuesdays deal. Recommend visiting during their daily special deals. Saturday nachos are my favorite - a comfort food pleasure. (Irony abound Del Taco is across the street for awful, inauthentic food.)

Came here for taco Tuesday in our quest for a new location when our last one closed down. The portions are large and the asada was good, but the carnitas is to die for. Too bad it's not included in the taco Tuesday deal. It was crowded but the food was served promptly. Only downside was they charged us regular price on some of the Tuesday special tacos.
