Good bad? How about bueno bueno?! I went to this new Andover spot last month for the first time for lunch, celebrating my friends birthday. It is counter service only for lunch, but that didn't take away from the fantastic customer relations that were provided. Food was great! I had the chicken burrito. Flavorful, packed with rice, beans, guac and grilled chicken. I couldn't finish it, of course after stuffing my face with chips, guac and pico. I had to top it off with a yummy, hot, crunchy churro. The Ricky Martin margarita is spicy just like Ricky himself. Served shaken up by one the happy owners, Mike. He's got a real charming flair, that I hope he never loses. The food is yummy and their service is right on point! That's the real key and sometimes hard to find.
Last night we returned for dinner service. We went early to beat the crowds. Greeted promptly by Victoria who remembered us from last time. Hanna our friendly waitress served us more delicious food. The street corn is creamy and Flavorful. Tacos were packed with fillings. Guac and queso fundido did not disappoint. Great vibe and everyone there is happy! We cant wait to go back. You would be loco if you didn't try this place for yourself!
This is what Andover has been craving for years! Something fun, new and exciting. Their LA Style Mexican and unparalleled drink menu adds a young vibe to the area. No matter what time it is, 6pm to 12am, their bar is packed - and for a good reason! You must try the Downward Dog, Ricky Martin & Cool Blue Ass drinks - they are to die for! As for their food, people have been raving about the fish tacos (not much of a fish guy) but personally I loved my chicken and steak tacos! Oh, and do not leave without the churros dessert. You will thank me later!

Very cool. A vacation kind of feel. Bar looked as if you could find it on the beach! My martini was delicious and chicken taco yummy. It is a small place but we got there early enough to snag a table. It was a memorable place, the kind you would like to bring your friends to experience!
Amazing tequila drinks!!! Chips and Salsa to die for!!! Incredible appetizers (chipotle maple chicken wings)!!! Outstanding Tacos (carnitas and fish)!!! Impeccable service!!! New fave!!!Way to go!!! We WILL Return!!!!!!!
Compared to our favorite Mexican place Cafe Azteca we give it the same 5 *. What's different you will have at least an hour wait for a table on a Friday night. The lighting is really dim so bring your reading glasses for the menu. The atmosphere is nice but loud.
What's the same. It's a great place to meet friends. Food is nice and spicy �� the way I like it. I don't know if they do Gluten free? Margaritas are different than what we make at home or at cafe Azteca still good. Easy parking. Price for 2 was the same at both places� though the quantities are bigger at cafe Azteca.
We’re so happy we stopped in tonight. Just had an amazing dinner! The biggest, most delicious chicken tacos we’ve ever eaten. Great food, amazing margaritas, top notch service and very cool vibe! Can’t wait until our next visit.
This is exactly the kind of place Andover was in need of. Food was delicious, drinks were fabulous and the service was amazing! The shrimp ceviche is a must!
Delicious, fresh food. Outstanding drink menu and friendly service makes Bueno Malo a favorite spot for me. Can’t wait to go back!
Food and drink top notch, as was the service and atmosphere. Great downtown location and free parking after 6:00 too!

Wow!!!! All I can say is Wow!!!! Taco Tuesday will never be the same. Just like the amp in Spinal Tap they go to 11. The wings were amazing and I just can’t say enough about the carnitas tacos. I will return again and again. 2 thumbs enthusiastically way up.
Amazing from beginning to end! Drinks were fabulous staff was lots of fun.

Great lunch with my son today! Chicken & Shrimp tacos were the favorites, steak & fried fish came in closed second! Churro was very yummy & guacamole so tasty & fresh. Will be back with hubby for dinner & beverages ���
Excellent food and atmosphere! Everything was delicious- the cornbread, empanadas, nachos, tacos-all top notch! ��

Best Mexican place in the area. Started with guacamole and chips, and we devoured that (big portion too - they even gave us a refill of chips). Then we each got a couple of tacos. All 4 were very good. We barely even touched the beans and rice that were served for the table with the tacos. Their cocktail, margarita, and tequila list was both impressive and funny(with their drink names). Their craft beer was also very good, ended up getting a vitamin sea 16oz can! Finally their throne room is fun and a good experience. We love it. Will be back again for sure!

I've found the Holy Grail. The PERFECT eating experience from start to finish. And surprise, it's at a taco shop!!
Most meals, even fantastic ones, come with occasional missteps, whether it's cold, hard bread at a fancy steakhouse - or limp soggy French fries at a great burger place. You just always expect one piece of the meal to be lackluster, always.
However, Bueno Malo REFUSES to give a sub-excellent food experience. Every single piece of our enormous meal was sensational. Not a single bad moment! Here's a recap below:
Tacos - huge portions, generous amounts of pico de gallo salsa, big pieces of flaky delicious fried fish. There's no holding back.
Quesadillas - We opted for the steak and shrimp. Again, super generous portion sizes with large chunks of juicy steak. Honestly, it felt like we could eat this with a knife and fork because the steak chunks were almost the size of steak tips!
Sides - Homemade empanadas, deep-fried pockets filled with juicy mushrooms. This felt like a juicy lucy in the way that molten mushroom juice hit your mouth. Also, their French fries are cut in the most unique way, into thin, wide slats. Makes them extremely crunchy and tasty!
Finally to top off the meal, we got the deep-fried Oreos, which was our first experience having them. The Oreo interior was molten and soft, while the exterior had a nice crunchy bite. Paired with a scoop of Oreo ice-cream, this meal was finished with a bang!

Awesome food and drinks with a cool atmosphere. The chipotle maple wings are some of the best wings I've ever had!
The use of innovative technology like robots and tablets resulted in excellent service from the get-go. I highly recommend this spot!
Excellent fresh food, great service. Good variety of appetizers, but would like to see a few more options on the main menu, which was essentially just tacos and burritos.

We were quoted a 40 minute wait, but only had to wait 20 minutes. It is rare to go somewhere and literally want everything on the menu, cocktails included. Well, that's what happens here. The "share" menu is amazing, and the tacos don't disappoint either. This is definitely worth a return trip.
First experience with this restaurant's fare this weekend (takeout). Ordered on-line, website user friendly..and food was ready to pick uo in about 20 minutes. The order was ready when I arrived, I was cordially serviced by the front of house personnel. All of that said, the food was excellect, reasonably priced, and the margaritas to go were outstanding. We will be regular customers for certain.
