This place is the ultimate small town Americans greasy spoon experience. From awesome staff to dynamite dishes at insanely great prices, you cannot go wrong with visiting this amazing little eatery. The coffee is absolutely stellar and the pie... My God, the pie. It's worth going just for the pie alone, but the rest of the menu is superb. Highly recommended. You'll leave stuffed and happy.

The French Dip was served on a bakery-fresh roll and piled high with juicy, flavorful beef.

Our server was attentive and nice. Set your expectations for what the food is. It's diner food. Not gourmet. If you walk in with that expectation, then you'll have a positive experience. We did. 😉 I just wish we had left room for pie. It looked delicious!

The food here is excellent and the service is outstanding. The servers were so attentive and Johnny-on-the spot with offering coffee. The food was so good we went back for dinner that night. It's a good thing we don't live here... We'd be so big from eating there all the time!!! Keep up the good work.

Same waiting staff as in 1992, although the atmosphere is very different.. felt amazing sitting next to Judge Randy Coffee, and most of the courthouse the day I skipped school and got my driver's license!

Visited the Village Kitchen for a late breakfast on Saturday. The restaurant is not very big, about 12 tables, so we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Our food was served quickly and hot. The setting is casual dress, the staff is friendly, the food was good and the bill for 4 of us was under $40. Recommended.
