Awesome food, service and setting. I always order a "custom" pasta dish every time I go there and they are always happy to make it. Free pistachios at the bar while you wait for a table is a nice touch. Huge wine selection. I hIghly recommend this place.
My wife and I enjoyed a date night at Gratzi and will definitely come back. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive and our food and wine were full of flavor and satisfying.
We had the salmon, and hubby had the veal (😳) - they were both delicious and cooked perfectly! The Brussels sprouts is a must and service was good, especially since they were packed!
Loved it! Went last night and our waitress was amazing. We had the Freud ravioli for an app, spaghetti ratoutelle , cheese ravioli, crembrule , and taramusi. All of it was delicious ! Even my berry martini was great. Will be going back soon.
Nice place with friendly staff and a very good scotch selection. A little pricey but well worth it.

Phenomenal! My husband and I️ had our private gender reveal for our baby at Gratzi. The entire staff went out of their way to make it special, food was fantastic and our server (Alexandria) was beyond incredible. We can’t thank Gratzi enough for one of the most special evenings of our lives (and our little boy on the way). Thank you 1000 times over! We WILL be back! Often!
We went there last night for dinner with a few friends after our brunch wedding and had amazing experience!! The service and food were both awesome! They brought us complimentary champagne, tiramisu and lemoncello shots. They definitely went above and beyond our expectations. We cannot say thank you enough!
I had my birthday dinner and I have to say everyone was very pleased with their meal. Service was great and the Birthday discount was generous. Don't forget your ID to get the discount.
Our bartender Kelsey was amazing!! Yesterday was our first visit there. She recommended several items on the menu from drinks to desserts. She was sure to congratulate my husband & I on our anniversary and informed us on the culture and history of the restaurant, we felt most welcomed! Gratzi is very lucky to have someone so bubbly and kind! Our waitress was incredible as well. We will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you for this fine dining experience!

This is one on my favorite places to go in ann arbor!! I always get great service and the staff is so friendly! Ask for Edgar when you go, he goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you want and more!!
We came for Mother’s Day brunch the food was amazing! Our sever Emily was so pleasant and wonderful. The Bloody Marys were perfect too! Excellent all around!!! We love coming here. This was the first time we came for brunch, we definitely will be back again. Delicious �

My friend was running the marathon on Sunday so we were in search of a delicious local Italian restuarant so he could carb up. When a local suggested it, little did we know the treat we were in for!
The wait was an hour and an a half which was no big deal because they had full service at the bar top.
The bartender, Kelsey instantly greeted us warmly. Being a bartender myself, I always secretly am grading who is behind the bar. I must say Kelsey possesses all of the qualities you want in a bartender! She has swag, humor, friendliness, poise when it got busy and bar knowledge to get the job done! Her partner in crime, Emma rocked it out too! They both had solid team chemistry! Oh and the drink presentation was top notch as the aroma of smokey oak enhanced my beverage.
It was also quite entertaining sitting by the service well and seeing how everyone worked well together, including managers.
As for the food, it was spot on! The pizza I had was very fulfilling, and my friend's traditional spaghetti was flavorful! Overall it was a pleasant experience and if I wasn't an out of towner, would make the bar a new go to! Thank you from Indy to Kelsey and the entire Gratzi team!

My friend swore up and down that this was one of the best Italian Restaurants in Ann Arbor. I wouldn't know if this were true or not, since this is the only Italian restaurant I've been to in the state of Michigan. We arrived with a reservation and party of 4 for lunch on a Friday. The reservation wasn't necessary, as we were the only party there. Overall, great service and food! Restaurant is quite large, with numerous seating options. This place would work well for both a casual fancy dining experience.
The complimentary bread was fresh and delicious. We even went through 2 baskets of the bread. So bad, but so good at the same time. We started with 2 orders of Shrimp Scampi and Di Pere to share. The Shrimp Scampi was full of savory flavors. I had the Caprino/Ravioli as my main. Not a large serving, but the rich flavor makes ordering this dish well worth it.
Street meter parking available and in the large parking lot behind the restaurant. Make sure you pay at the pay station.
In general I noticed the food lacked flavor and we had to constantly add salt to it, but it was good (not excellent). For the quality I got I think it is a bit pricey, but it they fixed the flavor issue then the price would make sense.
Regarding the dishes.... The calamari and short rib were fantastic and are highly recommended
My wife and I have gone to Gratzi a number of times. The food has always been very good with a very nice presentation. However it is a very expensive restaurant for the amount and quality of food to get. The wait staff has always been very knowledgeable and they are sometimes friendly.
Went in on a Saturday for lunch, not crowded at all. Service was a bit slow for how empty the place was, but the phenomenal food made up for it. We had a grilled chicken Cesar and the eggplant parmesan. The salad was very good but the eggplant was to die for. It was thin, crispy, and covered in their delicious homemade sauce. I would highly recommend!
Super nice staff and great food. Enjoyed every moment of the dinner. Great place to stop if in the mood for Italian food in the area!
We came here with my gf’s birthday promotion. Food was good, attention was correct, and prices with the promotion were unbeatable. Will probably return.

cannot say enough about our excellent evening spent here. my husband and I wanted a romantic dinner somewhere we had never been and decided on this place. our server, Peter, made sure we were always satisfied. you can tell that he cares so much about his job and your dining experience. we enjoyed the mushroom pizza - not pictured, because we ate it so quickly, as an appetizer. I decided on the filet and my husband got the eggplant parmesan, while we split a side of Brussels sprouts. the portabello mushroom with tomato and goat cheese that accompanied my filet almost brought tears to my eyes- they complimented each other so well. my filet was cooked to perfection. my husband thoroughly enjoyed his eggplant parmesan and only wished there was a little more sauce to accompany the pasta and that the Brussels sprouts be done slightly longer. to end our meal we ordered the tiramisu, which came on a decorated plate with "congratulations" written on it, celebrating our baby's upcoming arrival. the manager Sarah came over more than once to check on us and cared a lot about how we were treated throughout the evening. on another special occasion, we will definitely be back!!! thank you to the staff at Gratzi got such a wonderful evening!
The reason I give this restaurant a 4 star is because of the long wait just to get the food. Otherwise the experience was wonderful. The food was delicious and the nice lady who took our order was very cheerful.
