I am not vegan, but it was my wife's birthday, so I surprised her by taking her here as she has been wanting to go for a while. As a carnivore/omnivore, I was very pleased with the food, and my wife loved it. The service is great, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the food is very good. We had their chili, the tacos, and the "Meat Haters" pizza. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Even if the thought of vegan food scares you a little, you will likely be impressed. At the end, treat yourself to their chocolate cheesecake.

Tried for the first time today- our friends were playing on the patio. I was beyond embarrassed when my kiddo dropped a glass and shattered it- but they were so kind about it. Service was super friendly and food was on point. Kiddo had pb&j w apples and coconut milk ice cream- I had the “chicken” fingers w both dipper sauces and it was fantastic. Will be back for sure- everything that was carried past looked and smelled fantastic.

Awesome location in Kerrytown. This place did not disappoint. I went for lunch with a few coworkers and we were all amazed by the food (vegans or not). Everyone had the tomato basil bisque and from there Vietnamese sandwich, southwest salad, grilled queso burrito and bao buns were ordered. Not one complant. Highly recommend.

Great food and great staff. There are very few totally vegan restaurants in this area and this place is our new favorite.

Great service, unbelievably tasty vegan food (how do you make vegan mac and cheese taste like the "real deal"?!), and lots of awesome drink options, including a fabulous list of "unleaded" (non-alcoholic) beverages. I'll be coming again, for sure.

Amazing food, great atmosphere, right in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor. You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy good food.

We chose the restaurant because the food on the tables looked so good. Had no idea it was vegan. And once we sat down, our very nonvegan family had second thoughts. But luckily we decided to stay. We all loved our meals and would definitely come back.

Super friendly and delicious! I got the viridescent roll as a salad because I’m gluten sensitive and it’s SO GOOD! Really nice to be able to find a vegan restaurant who understands flavors and textures and can put them together to make something new and amazing. Matt has been so kind. I’m visiting from California and he’s given me all kinds of recommendations that have made my day lovely.

Great entrees and wonderful service. I didn’t love the spinach artichoke dip appetizer because it’s served cold and the chips were meh, but the main entrees for myself and my friend were so good! Definitely try out the yum yum tots when you’re here, they are not like your typical tater tots. Cute spot in the Kerrytown district. Great for a casual meal!

Not a bad item on their menu. Food is all fantastic. I recommend the power up bowl, burrito, works greatest wrap and definitely get the whoopie pies, if they aren't sold out. They are great community partners helping those in need as well as hiring those who need a second chance. This place rules.

We stopped here on a road trip through Michigan. Our party had someone with food allergies and this restaurant took great care to accommodate them. The food was amazing and extremely affordable for a vegan place. I would drive 2.5 hours from home just to come here again

Detroit Street Filling Station has easily and quickly become one of my favorite restaurants! We ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower Wings, Treetown Tempeh Reuben, and Banh Mi in Exile. It was all perfect and so delicious! I have zero complaints or suggestions! The staff was friendly and attentive. We appreciated the extensive all-vegan menu. Finally, we greatly enjoyed the way they took orders through a QR code. It was nice to be able to take our time browsing the menu, having the option to add items even as we ate, and finally being able to just leave when we were done. It’s a great system! We will definitely be back in the near future!

I’m never disappointed with this place! As a non-vegan I’m always impressed with what they have and never feel like I’m missing out on flavor/protein options. I especially love the grilled cheese (cashew cream cheese and raspberries), pad Thai (best in aa!), and the power bowl (my moms favorite meal ever).
