Neat little place. African and World music in the background. Super fresh food and
great prices. I totally recommend for a sit down dinner or drop in lunch.
Such amazing flavors in every dish we tried! Also-- EXTREMELY accommodating when we need d allergen-friendly dishes! Would highly recommend and can't come back to Ann Arbor to eat here again!!
I stopped in here on Memorial Day before the Mighty Oak soccer match and went for the gusto and ordered the goat shank which was outstanding. I will most definitely come again for the goat shank or any other entree.
I love both the selection of food and the ambiance of casual quality. The food is always fresh and delicious and unique. THe owners are very friendly and certainly dedicated to providing an enjoyable dining experience.
Very knowledgeable and accommodating when I told them I needed to avoid gluten. Delicious food, coffee and gelato. Great customer service, overall great experience.
This place makes "happy food". Every time I'm there, I'm so completely happy with the food and the friendliness of the folks working there.
Amazing! I’ve never had food like it and t surpassed every expectation. Super reasonably priced too!
Ate at El Harissa last night, with two tables of eaters, some of them newbies. It was excellent as always, everyone loved their food - and there were some picky eaters at the tables! Fresh and flavorful. The only thing better than the food is hanging out with Khaled and Sue.
Incredible food and very helpful staff!! They made excellent recommendations for us as it was our first visit. But it definitely won't be our last!!
This hidden gem of a place serves a tasty salad and a good cup of tea--quiet and owner operated. Very nice.
El Harissa Market Café is one of my favorite places in Ann Arbor. Great food and family who owns the business are such warm and friendly people. So lucky to have them in Ann Arbor!
Fantastic in every category - Food, Service, Atmosphere
Highest quality & friendly & a family-owned and run business!
The flavors are some of the most complex and delicious I have had in Ann Arbor--which is saying something! This is fine North African/Tunisian homestyle cooking, which is somewhat different from its Middle Eastern cousins. The Harissa sauce is not overly spicy but adds nuance to the meatballs. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming but with warmth and kind service. I strongly recommend eating here for an experience like no other in the area.
I love the Turkish coffee and the great variety of food from the Mediterranean and North African regions.
Amazing authentic Mediterranean dishes specially the Tunisian ones :)
Everything is delicious. Owners are lovely and welcoming. And some of the best gelato in town! Love having this on the west side!
