We came here to get a bit of rest from a stressful morning and found it. Very nice and helpful staff. Very good tea selection and I liked that they offered us the option of an actual cup first instead of giving us a wasteful paper cup as Starbucks does. I didn't find the baked goods too interesting though. The place was calm and spacious.

One of my favorite coffee shops in town. The staff is great, the coffee is good, and the WiFi is pretty fast. It's a nice relaxed place, and they've always got good music on the radio. My only complaint is that a lot of the furniture is a bit TOO broken in... They could use a few newer chairs or couches.

Cozy! Really great lattes for an unbeatable price (Latte Wednesday!), the barrista was most helpful in choosing which latte to order, and their armchairs are perfect for a long spell of just appreciating this gorgeous existence. The only thing they're missing is a fireplace! Yeah, it's really that cozy here.

Fairly quiet atmosphere, nice place to sit and relax for an extended period of time.. I'm grateful for a peaceful place to rest. Also, PS. they are awesome and make their pastries pretty fresh because they just came around and gave out baked goods that they'd otherwise be throwing out. :) Very welcome treat.

A peaceful place to get some work done after drinking some quality caffeine. As with all cafes and coffe shops in the Qnn Arbor area, atmosphere is everything. And this particular Espresso Royale delivers adequate space and aesthetic to allow for relaxation in one of their comfortable armchairs, or focus with one of their larger 4-top tables. Here, I ordered a typical black coffee with an added espresso shot. They have 4 options for black coffee, two of which are almost always a house blend.
