I got the spicy army tofu stew along with spicy chicken wings and a white Korean to wash it all down. I was craving soup and ramen so the army tofu stew hit the spot! The spice amount wasn't too much, but enough for you to taste it.
The spicy chicken was sweet and not spicy at all. I could smell the spicy, but didn't taste it at all. So if you're into spice, you probably will be disappointed by it.
The white Korean was pretty strong, but the creme made it have a coco milk taste to it. Really delicious!
Overall, I'd come by here again because their menu is huge!
We recommend this restaurant Damoim. As our first time tonight π it's worth the driving from our house. We are definitely sure that all of their foods taste great. So please come and try it too. We will come back! ππππππ
The tacos are great! The bulldog is awesome too. Everyone is really friendly and food is good overall.
I think they have a karaoke room in the back but I never used it.
Edit 7/3/19: had to correct a spelling mistake that I missed years ago. I have not been back but good to see the business is still up because I still remember the food being great! I should go back to order the tacos!

Usually quiet little bar in the heart of Annandale. They offer Korean food and some fusion items (like the spicy pork tacos!). One of the only American style bars in the area with a decent list of cocktails.
They also have a couple karaoke rooms in the back. Not their main focus, but a good bonus if you're out with friends and in the mood for some karaoke. Negotiate the rate with the manager. If you've spent enough on food, you might get it for free or with a steep discount.
Our favorite place in Annandale. Regulars are mostly NoVa raised locals and the nicest, friendliest people you will meet. English and Korean spoken about equally.
Food selection and quality are very good, with both traditional Korean and American fusion dishes.
Wednesday is karaoke-at-the-bar night and is a lot of fun. Lots of sing along.
Never had anything but a great time at Damoim.
The celery base hot sauce was on point. The tacos were just right. The garlic that came with the grilled shrimp was very nice. Some jalepeno slices would have been nice
Korean Fusion - cool! But Korean favorites like Bulgoki and Korean Fried Chicken were excellent also. They also have small plates, at around $6, but the small plates are not so small. Our mandoo had 6 large pieces of the Korean fried dumpling.
The atmosphere is modern, and the service is friendly and helpful. Lots of vegetarian small plates and entrees as well. Full bar, and a wonderful Korean hot tea.
This place is a little gem within K-town (aka Annandale). It's not your typical Korean restaurant as it offers Korean dishes with a twist and has the best wine list out of any of the other Korean bars in the area! You'll find that much of the dining clientele are of various ethnic backgrounds. Just beware... if you find yourself there on late Friday and Saturday nights, you'll be one with the "ahjuhssis".
Recommendation: Jaeyook (spicy pork) tacos, haemool dohl soht bibim bap (mixed seafood rice bowl in stone bowl), and choong chun mak gook soo (cold noodle soup) are a must!
If you want some cozy and exotic bar with your friend and want to sing a song together, this one is the best place for you. I don't want to give you some detail things about here because you will be realized what I mean after visiting here, Damoin.
I've been here with a friend and I loved it. When we went, the place was pretty much completely empty so it was slightly awkward, but the food was really good.
