I dreamt of the Gnocchi with Brie all night! Sampled my wife's ciopinno and the sauce was heaven and filled with a delightful array of fresh fish, muscles and clams. My grilled calamari was tender and delicious. The Burrato with prosciutto was indeed a treat! My wife originally from Calabria says it was the best home style Italian food with a gourmet touch since her Mother made dinner. Nick, our server was always close but never overbearing and was well prepared to give us additional information regarding our selections. We were both very disappointed we simply had no room for desert! Next time we will TRY to save some but we can't promise! See you again soon!

By far the best restaurant in Annapolis! Osterria 177 can hang with the best anywhere. The staff is very knowledgable and professional but more important, the food is amazing every time. Locally owned and operated by Arturo who is the bomb

Another outstanding meal with top notch service which my wife and I and daughter really enjoyed. The wine and appetizers were excellent and the entrees were out of this world. Special thanks to the owner & Chef Arturo who personally took time to sit and chat with us.

This is the best Italian restaurant you can find in the whole D.C. Area. Every time we go, Arturo and/or Chris make us feel more than welcome. Both the food (my favorite is the branzino) and the atmosphere are great! We try to get to Osteria at least once a week.

We had an excellent experience at Osteria. The server was fantastic, the wine superb, and the 20 oz. Ribeye that I ordered was cooked to perfection. We will be back.

Probably my favorite DTA restaurant. The best chicken parm and homemade pasta.

The team did a wonderful job in assisting in a small surprise party we had there. Kurt was a fantastic server and was instrumental in a night we wouldn't forget. The food was also outstanding and I look forward to going there again.

This place is amazing. Definitely not your typical Italian restaurant. If you live in this area, this restaurant is the closest you can get to enjoying an authentic Italian dish. And if you’re not into pasta, their steaks and other meats and seafood dishes are all delicious. I will definitely be back.

Osteria 177 is a niche restaurant with options seldom available anywhere else and you’re paying for that experience. You can easily tell the food is fresh, well prepared, and made to order by a chef who cares about what they are doing. Our dishes were tasteful but not mind blowing. To fully enjoy Osteria I say you have to fully appreciate higher end culinary experiences and all the tangibles that come with them. The reason I gave a four star rating was due to an awkward misunderstanding we had with the server regarding the wine we brought. The restaurant has a corking fee for individuals who would like to bring their own wines. We confirmed both the restaurant’s policy and the wines we were going to bring beforehand. The server misunderstood the rules and was reluctant to re-confirm them. We sought out management who made things right but not before an awkward encounter that put a damper on the experience.

The best pasta and seafood I have had in all of Maryland. The seafood is so fresh and cooked to perfection. You truly cannot go wrong with ANYTHING you choose on the menu. Save room for desert because the two that I tried were magically delicious and so good!!! Can’t wait to go back!

Another place checked off my guide saved list. The lobster bisque should be served as an entree. It's very good. I don't even want to know the calories. For the main course order parpadelle dish that's listed online menu but not on menu upon dine in. I lucked out and they had the ingredients on hand. It was worth it. Simple but rich in flavor!

Cannot stop thinking about our dinners in Annapolis at Osteria 177. Our experience there was tremendous. Our waiter Austin gave the best service and spoke so highly of the establishment and the chef, and it made us appreciate every bite that much more! Everything was cooked to perfection. Loved the homemade tortellini with boar ragu!!!!! Excellent wine list, food and overall dining experience. Can’t wait to go back!
