A+++ walked in to seeing about 7 couples in their 80’s all eating and having a good time. This places Atmosphere is amazing truly down-home feeling inside almost like a step back in time to the 50s. We ordered crabcake burger crabcake cheeseburger and crab soup. All super good and our waitress gave us a cup of coffee to go! Military discount too!!!
The food was great we were there for lunch.I had soup and salad and I like liver and onions I only get it once in a great while it was so good the coffee was great and oh my make sure you save room for dessert so many choices. The waitress was top notch. 👌
First time in as we're still new to the area. But we frequent Annapolis for medical treatment. Will definitely be coming back to Double T. They are so nice, food was amazing, good sized portions. The atmosphere is welcoming.
Been coming here when in town for over 20 years and it never disappoints. Now living here and visiting more frequently the friendly atmosphere and always on the ball staff are keeping up the tradition. Really like the taller booth walls for privacy !
The food was AWESOME and refills as many as we wanted! Also they sang by NAME my granddaughter Happy Biryhday and gave her a free beautiful piece of their yummy cake! Great place for kids and plenty of food!! The owner and hid staff do a GREAT JOB… we will be back!
A dinner with an extensive menu. I got the pork chops and was asked how I want them cooked. I thought there was only one cook for pork chops - done. I said medium well. So they were a little under done near the bone. Didn't matter though, cause I only pick up the bone and gnaw on it caveman style when I'm at home. It's the only was to get this parts in the curves, and they are usually the best parts. My mom's friend had a big family and when she made pork chops for them she cut out that big circle part for them and just have the bone parts for herself. The kids thought she was sacrificing while she was getting the best part of ALL the chops - genius.
Anyway, they have big, fat steak fries cooked exactly as you expect a dinner to cook them - no fancy seasoning, no matter type crispness on the outside, just plain old American French fries.
The break cane with soup AND salad, which is rare. They give you nice big slices of raw onion and green pepper on top. I don't care for either, so I wish they would tell you that so you can say 'no thanks'. I hate to waste like that. I selected the chicken noodle soup over matzo ball soup (whatever that is) split pea (yuck) and vegetable (why bother?). The small cup was jam packed with noodles and chicken and was delicious.
They guy who helped me wasn't surly, but he wasn't particularly friendly either. It was in the late evening though, so I chalked it up to a long day.
They have an amazing dessert selection, but as usual, I ate all of my dinner and was too full for dessert. The pictures are my entree and one of the desert cases (the other held full cakes).
Well, it's a diner. The service is almost always good. The food is AT LEAST four star compared to other diners. I'm not really a dessert guy, but visually at least, their deserts look world-class. Portions tend to be generous. The wait staff is Pleasant even when they're busy, which is really saying something. Either they have great management or someone beating them with a bullwhip until their morale improves. I'm going to go with great management. It's hard to do better than Double T Diner for breakfast or a late night meal.
