Life Savers. We were traveling to Gatlinburg, TN for a long 40th birthday weekend celebration. I contacted a few bakeries there with out any luck getting them to assist me with my requests. 2 days before we were needing to leave, I contacted Homestyle Bakery. They were very accommodating and friendly and created a wonderful cake for our trip to the Smokies. The cake was PERFECT and absolutely delicious. So happy I contacted them! They will definitely be my "go to" place for celebratory cakes in the future :) Thank you, Homestyle Bakery!
SOMEBODY WAS HAVING A BAD DAY!. We buy donuts here for the office. I've bought their delicious fudge pies and various pastries. People I work with have orderd custom cakes. The previous review doesn't sound like the place we patronize. The workers are always very knowledgable and courteous. I don't know of a better bakery and it beats the heck out of the grocery store bakeries.
Never falls short. Absolutely wonderful! Take the time and stop, there is no way you can leave empty handed.

Delicious Desserts!. Homestyle Bakery is a small bakery on Murfreesboro Road that is family owned. They make amazing custom order cakes perfect for birthday parties, graduations, or any occasion you can think of, just make sure to pre-order as I have dropped in before and it is difficult to get anything on the spot. They also have specially designed cupcakes and cookies that taste as good as they look available all the time.
My grandparents come to visit and no matter what we have planned they make us stop by Homestyle bakery for a few of their mini fudge pies and their freshly made doughnuts (Best in Nashville).
They are open 7:30 to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturdays. They are closed on Sundays though so stock up the day before!
Second to none!. Home Style Bakery is by far the best bakery in Nashville. Their having served this area for over 30 years is a testament to that! The staff has become like family because the atmosphere exudes that kind of closeness and familiarity. Their cakes are always moist and fresh...not to mention always decorated far better than I imagine. The pies, cookies, and doughnuts are famous in their own right and will leave you wanting more every time. I recommend Home Style to everyone! Two thumbs up!

Ever since my first bite of a HomeStyle Bakery cake in 2007, it became my favorite cake of all time. And it still is! The cake and the icing are delicious (each on their own, in addition to the perfect ratio of sweet), plus their decorators are all so incredibly talented. Because of that, they’ve been my first choice for occasions that need a bakery item, and when it came time to plan my wedding there was absolutely no doubt in my mind where I wanted our wedding cake to come from.
What I wasn’t sure of was what I wanted our wedding cake to look like. I met with Sarah and discussed the planned venue decorations, which coordinated with our invitations, and shared with her how I would like the cake to coordinate. Sarah sketched out a design that was beautiful, unique, and looked like it would flow wonderfully with our theme. On wedding day, when I saw the cake in person, it was perfect. The final product even blew her sketches out of the water and I honestly could not have been any more thrilled with the final design.
As expected, our cake was gorgeous AND delicious! We received compliments from many of our guests. Even our day-of coordinator asked me where our cake was from, stating she’s tasted a lot of cakes over the years and it was the best tasting cake she’d ever had.
Again, HomeStyle Bakery delivered a gorgeous and delicious cake for our wedding day and was 100% in every way. I have and always will recommend this bakery for any and all of your events - or if you’re just really wanting a piece of cake!
This bakery never disappoints! I emailed late Thursday with a simple design fro Saturday AM since I was so late in ordering, but she offered a much more beautiful design for my approval and got it done. All the friends at our party remarked on how beautiful the cake was AND how delicious it was!! Highly recommend!
I had cupcakes made for my daughter's Sweet 16 birthday I sent them pictures and they were so beautiful, just like the pictures. And they tasted so good ! Several people asked where they were from. Thank you HomeStyle Bakery for helping to make my daughter birthday special !! 🤍🤍
I've used HomeStyle Bakery for almost 40 years and just want to say, "THEY WILL NOT DISAPPOINT". They made my grandson's graduation cake for this past weekend and it was boss. We received so many compliments from others in West Tennessee where we celebrated. Guess they might want to look at opening yet another location (lol). Love these guys and anyone who hasn't, should try them!!!!

I easily ordered my cake online day before pickup for my husband's birthday! I also ordered some other treats and everything was ready and neatly packaged! Everything I've ever had from Home Style is delicious! Love Home Style Bakery!
If I could give 10 Stars I would!!! It took one email to order and one email to confirm my request and the cake was exactly what I wanted on pickup day! Not only was the cake beautifully decorated, the cake was very moist and really really good! The cake was ordered for my 13yr old TieDye birthday and she LOVED IT!!! She said it was too pretty to cut!!!! LOL This will be my goto place for now on for decorated cakes!!
