Found out about Cozzy Corner by watching the series “Around the Corner” with John McGivern. Menu looked and sounded good. This was our first visit. All foods made from scratch with many layers of flavor. Some of the best “red beans and rice” from a restaurant I have had. Both regular and Cajun catfish filets flavorful, flakey, not greasy, just the right amount of coating. Generous portion of baby back ribs lightly smoked, not overly done. We went in hungry, ate our fill. And had enough leftovers for a nice lunch, so a great value. Rhythm and blues music playing in the background, with a retro decor adds to its charm. Service fast, staff very courteous. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back.
"They did the best job decorating this place! They must love music!" My son couldn't stop admiring the artwork and records displayed everywhere. He of course devoured his Mac & cheese & fried chicken, of which he said, "I'm sorry dad, but it's better here than at home."
This was our 2nd visit in 2 months. First visit I ordered chicken and waffles (never had it before) and this time I had catfish. Amazing food both visits! The staff made us feel welcomed and we loved the atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

Friendly service, straight up soulful southern American food. Please give this place a try and hopefully enjoy it as much as I do.
Great ambiance and better food. Friendly staff and servers. Highly recommended for great, traditionally Southern/ soul and comfort foods. Nice variety of IPA's and beer to choose from.

Me and my mom ate at the cozy corner yesterday and everything was delicious also the service was great. I would definitely recommend the Cozy Corner to my friends and I would eat here again.
Love this place! Waiter and waitress were funny and wonderful. The food was phenomenal and anytime I go; I’m more and more impressed with the service. Would be a good tourist food attraction in Appleton forsure!
If you’re ever in Appleton, Wisconsin, you’ve got to try this place. Insane amount of food for the price, and it’s very good.
First time there an definitely will return! Very good service comfy homey feeling an the food was absolutely delicious! So many choices an not a big enough tummy lol must stop again soon!

The food was pretty good. I had chicken and waffles, and there's choices for meat and sides. The fried chicken was really crispy but the waffles was not what I expected, personally like crispy waffle, compared to fluffy one. However, overall was pretty good. Will visit again soon!

Having my relatives and both sides of the family from the South and generations going back in Mississippi and Memphis, I miss the true southern food.
First time here, got the 2 meat plate with catfish and sausage and collard greens, hush puppies and corn bread. The collard greens were amazing, the hush puppies were Perfect. Everything was perfect!
Can’t wait to come back and try more!
The food is great and the atmosphere is pretty cool. Their portions are big so come hungry.
My husband and I saw the Cozzy Corner on Wisconsin Foodie and decided to give it a try for dinner. It was very busy granted it was also Mother’s Day: The restaurant also did not take any reservations and parking was hard to find. When we arrived our waitress cleaned a table and sat us immediately. We told her that it was our first time here and she went over the menu with us. Our waitress was very attentive. The other waitress seemed to be all over the place. She was extremely loud and kept telling us that someone she knew was shot and might die. Other families dining it also seemed very displeased with her service as one table even got up and left.She was very unprofessional. We waited quite a while for our food but our waitress kept checking on us and keeping us updated. The restaurant was very busy and they seemed short staffed. I had the chicken and waffles and I was very good . My husband had chicken and ribs and he was very happy. I’d suggest different flavors of ice tea.
Incredible food! Delicious down-home southern style food. Big portions for a great price. The chicken was unreal. We liked it so much we are having them cater our daughter's birthday party!
Finally tried and I'm sorry I havent been there sooner! I had the ribs and fried chicken with collard greens and beans. It was incredible the ribs were smokey tender perfect next time already torn on what I want. My wife had pulled pork and catfish with yams and mac n cheese she felt the same about her meal, she wants the chicken with pecan waffles when we go back. Prices are cheap in my eyes for the quality southern home cooking you're receiving.
