Cozy pub in downtown Appleton. Atmosphere is subdued, not loud which is a nice. Wait staff is friendly and very accommodating. Their Reubens are amazing. So delicious, and served promptly. They have a nice food menu. Others in our party got the Irish Stew and Cottage Pie, which were both excellent as well. If you haven't tried them for food, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and give them a try. I have lived here almost 6 years now, and I'm still amazed by the excellent choices in restaurants we have, especially the bars. Where I am from a bar is a bar, not a great place to eat that also serves booze 🙂.
The best Irish pub in the valley!! The owner is awesome, the bartenders are awesome. The largest selection of Irish whiskey. Great food also!!
Absolutely wonderful place. Very friendly atmosphere. Bartenders are highly knowledgeable and very courteous. The place is very clean and has a warm feeling when you come in. The food, absolutely delicious all around. Definitely a great place to go enjoy a relaxing evening with friends and none of the drama you find on the strip.
Love it when they have music. Katie is a wonderful bartender! Great food.
Would like to thank Matt Miller for his hospitality and great staff for their excellent service. Based on our previous great visits we sent a large group of friends and family over to McGuiness! We had almost 2 hours to gather after a wedding before the reception. Everyone had a great time! Great variety of beer and they pour the best drinks! Thanks again Matt! Cheers!!
Matt has a great place, atmosphere is perfect for an Irish pub. He recently hired a new chef who is still learning but the food was still very good!
Excellent drinks. Fun people to talk to. Bartenders on top of their game!
Friendly staff, live Irish music that night. The only downfall was my pint of Guiness. Flavor profile was off, was not heavy like i am used to. I would go back again, but probably go bottle beer next time.
