Technical issues with some of the games and some of the staff seemed bored despite the crowds but the kids all have alot of fun, and the poor kids working the insanely busy prize counter were surprisingly calm and helpful. There was one manager who was very rude to one of the girls working but she didn't miss a beat and kept the smile on her face.
I went there again, and had so much fun! The entire staff was friendly and engaged in enjoyable games. But for laser tag, while I was waking during the game, I put one of my hands on the wall or rocks to rest, and I felt a nail poke through my hand. Until the end of the game, I didn't realize I was bleeding. I just want to make sure everyone is careful of their surroundings and makes sure to report it to the staff to let them know. I ask one of the staff for bandaid and was nice to give me some medication for it and they report the accident (hopefully).
Kids always have a blast. There are a lot of things for all ages. They do need to update and or fix a handful of games that always seem to be out of order. Having said that the kids are never disappointed and fun is always had.
My family loves this place. Both of my children have had multiple parties held here through the years. We've done the mini golfing, lazer tag, ball pit, giant play place, all the little rides and games, and batting cages. I also enjoy the movie theater, which is attached to the building.
Going here on weekdays provides a quieter less packed atmosphere, which is nice if you have smaller children or want to avoid crowds of people.
My main frustration was that there was no ATM available to withdraw cash. None of the registers in the building were able to do cash over for a purchase either. Every time I asked an employee where an ATM might be, they told me to use the coin machines as those were the only fund converters on the property (always assuming I just wanted more coins). In this situation, I didn't need additional coins to play the games.
I know I could've arrived more prepared. But when something unexpected comes up, it's an added convenience factor that would've seriously helped. It was frustrating to have to pack up the kids in the car, leave the property and use an ATM elsewhere, and then come back.
I did just assume that such a large place that handles alot of cash would have an ATM.. Could've sworn they had them near the entrances several years back. So that is lack of planning on my part.
But again, the convenience would've really been beneficial and I would've spent more money there at Funset if there was an ATM present.
Anyway, come with cash before you arrive.
