Big dirt parking lot...looks like a warehouse. It's nice though. Good food and good atmosphere. Definitely will return. If you have a chance check it out.
Stopped in for lunch while out chasing waterfalls and hiking around the area. Even at 2pm they were very busy.
Good selection of beers, and soda available for the non-drinkers.
Outside is dog friendly.
Huge area of tables outside. Lots of free parking available.
There is food on site from food trucks. Different about it is you order food at the counter and get a buzzer, then when your food is ready you pick it up at the counter inside. We were told 45 minutes for food, but it was closer to 30. Everything was good.
Brewery in the woods. Good beers and have few cocktails as well. Live music over the weekends. Pet friendly with outdoor seating. Has a food truck with delicious pizzas and burgers.
Love this place! Best burgers š, nice beer selection, live music and just the atmosphere sitting right on the edge of the forest. If you have your dog with you, he will like it too. We never miss it on our vacations in the area, even if we are staying an hour away. Highly Recommended!
I give Mills River a big thumbs up! My wife and I went there on a recommendation from a friend that knows every brewery and winery around.
First of all, the place is big, with both inside and outside tables. It was very clean and didnāt have any heavy brewery smell. The staff was super friendly.
The menu is fairly large. It appears that they have a number of possibly permanent food trucks. You place your order at the bar, and get a pager. Someone brings your food in, and the pager lets you know to go pick it up.
My wife and I split a starter and a sandwich for lunch. Both were quite good and large. We couldnāt eat it all!
They offer music there frequently and it looks to be set up well for having entertainment.
To be honest, I liked it better than Sierra Nevada. Itās certainly not as fancy or massive, but the menu variety and quality is better, and thereās less hassle.
Unfortunately, we were there a little too early for having some beer, but weāre looking forward to a return trip to check out the brews. They had 15 listed on the board plus wine and cocktails.
The only reason I gave it 4-Stars is because I reserve a higher rating for outstanding fine dining. But, this is as high I rating as I have ever given to a brewery. In the brewery genre, it would be 5-star!
The only needed improvement would be repaving the parking lot. Itās large, but pretty rough.
Worth a try!
Their nitro stout is the best Iāve ever had from a local brewery! This was our first visit and it made a great impression. What a fun, kid and dog friendly venue with play areas, tons of picnic tables, 2 corn hole games and a stage and satellite bar under the trees. Lots of room to spread out both inside and outside. We enjoyed a great band on the outdoor stage. Order beer, food and drink (full cocktail menu) at the bar. Servers are fast and knowledgeable and the food is so good! That night, there was a wedding tent and a huge wedding party. The venue could handle the huge crowd without delay of food or drink. The restrooms were clean and the ladies room has 3 stalls. There is a large area to park around the venue, though it may be a short walk to reach the building. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon!
Great food, drinks and venue. Staff is wonderful.
Have been there several times but always have questionable tabs. Drink prices are not posted and it appears that whoever serves you charges what they want. I started ordering and paying cash as I ordered and realized prices were comparable to a professional sports venue or upscale restaurant. I started requesting receipts and last one was 48.00 however my credit card was 110.00 dollars.
I really enjoy this venue and service but can no longer accept questionable charges.

Thereās nothing like live music!! Stopped in to see one of the Brokers with the firm perform as a member of the Carolina Drifters, it was amazing! Great ambiance, the pizza was good and the selection of beer abundant! A canāt miss brewery!
Awesome experience! Beers were tasty, food truck was great, & service was awesome!
MRB does a great job. They have tons of outdoor space, including loads of picnic tables to spread out. They have a permanent food truck setup that offers a large menu of excellent food. In addition to their own taps, they have cider and actually have a full bar. Ownership and staff are nice, friendly people. Definitely worth the trip.

Definitely one of our favorite brew housesā¦
Food is way better than most brew houses. Cool venue with live bands. Already celebrating Saint Paddyās day. Had the chicken sandwich which was excellent. Fun and lively place. Lots going on. Really excellent as the weather warms up. Highly recommend
We had dinner and beers there last week and was surprised at how nice the place is and how good the beers and food is. Itās easy to find and full of friendly neighborhood people. Itās a refreshing mix of all types of folks. The servers were very helpful and friendly too. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for good food and beers in Mills River. Weāve been to all the local breweries in the area and Iād rate this one at the top with Sierra Nevada and Bold Rock.
The atmosphere was very good. The nitro stout was good. Extensive food menu. Good bourbon selection but those prices are at a premium.
Great new spot for this brewery. Large inside taproom adjacent to brew house with an even larger outside that features lots of picnic tables around the brewery and on up the hillside. A beautiful wooded setting. The craft beer offering has something for all tastes. I found the beers to be approaching average status with no big, bold winners. The food seems a bit pricy for a mountain area food truck. Had the burger, tasty, well cooked but not worth the price. Great party spot, better priced items would be appreciated. Service was very friendly and efficient.
I really enjoyed my experience here. It is such a beautiful settings with many tables and trees in the back. We sat out in the forested area and we shared the nachos which were delicious. I donāt actually drink alcohol but my parents enjoyed their drinks. I do wish they had more non-alcoholic drinks other than just soda and tea but thatās okay.
A great venue to enjoy outside, with good brews, good food, and dog friendly. Have enjoyed every visit, and will be back again and again. Still hoping to get some ESB in a future visit, and we're local, so odds are pretty good.
We happened upon this place just looking for "anywhere " to eat near Hendersonville. What a great SURPRISE! The barkeep was friendly and very helpful. The guy who seemed to be chief cook AND bottle washer was kind and over the top pleasant. The food was indescribably delicious. I wish I lived near here!
