Deserves a 5 all the way. Laura our server was perfect. We were headed to a show across the street after we went in there to have something to eat. She made sure we got everything quickly and had some great recommendations. The food was marvelous. Reuben quesadilla excellent! Mashed potato balls excellent! Pot roast sliders to die for! And the beer cheese soup I have never tasted any better. Actually their whole menu was very interesting and had some great choices on it. Hard to decide actually. Huge beer menu. Went to the Pub for our regular pre St. Patrick's Day corn beef and beer. I feel that they have the best corn beef in the suburbs. Cooked to perfection . Tender and juicy.
Getting ready for their huge St. Patrick's Day festivities for the weekend. They will have various Irish � Bands and Irish Dancers all weekend.
Their other food is excellent pub food and many Irish beers on tap. In addition, they have a wide selection of Irish Whisky. From Middleton Extra Rare to Red Breast and every type in between.
Kathy had soup and 1/2 sandwich. Really wonderful seasoned soup and a nice sandwich.
They serve a outstanding fish and chips every day and a great change for Lent.
On Sunday they serve a full Irish breakfast. Also they serve a loaf of Irish brown bread (take home the remainder home for breakfast the next day).
The servers are knowledgeable on the menu and the beers and very friendly.
Some nights they have live music and a great place craic.
Hands down the best Irish pub in the chicago burbs! Great food, great place to get a pint, and an awesome bar/serving staff. Always a great time at Peggy's!
First time visiting and must say we were very pleased with the place!!! Would recommend it to our friends. Love that had entertainment the day we went Hip Pocket Band amazing!,, Must have them back! We will definitely go back ! Pleasant experience �
The food in the Ambiance were wonderful. Our waitress had a bit of an attitude but it was a very busy day. All in all excellent place well worth a visit.

Peggy Kinnanes is my favorite Irish restaurant and bar. Being from Ireland I've seen many Irish bars in both Ireland and here in Chicago and Peggy's is by far my favorite. The food and the friendly service is always a cut above the rest and the owner Derrick regularly stops by to make sure that his customers are being well taken care of. You don't see that too often these days. I highly recommend Peggy Kinnanes.
The staff and the food were great. The host and hostess were warm and friendly as were the servers. The menu selection provided many traditional dishes and the selection of spirits were top notch.

My husband and I shared hummus appetizer, it was outstanding. I had the shepherds pie, it was the best I’ve ever had. He had the fish and chips. The fish was very tasty and the chips were crunchy on the outside and the insides were creamy.

I’ve been to Peggy’s a few times now and every time has been great! So when it came time for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday, I decided what better place to throw a surprise party. Derek, the owner, was super helpful with planning and really guided the whole planning process. I met with him at Peggy’s multiple times to see the spaces available, and go over plans. He also answered any questions and helped in any way he could. Being a surprise party, I was extremely anxious about the whole thing, but when it came time for the party, Peggy’s exceeded my expectations. Everything went so smoothly and the manager on staff was more than helpful. He did everything to make sure the guests had the best time. Restocked the food when needed and served the cake. We reserved the back bar and had about 40 people, every single person was amazed by the food, the service and the atmosphere. Most of all, my boyfriend was so surprised and happy with everything. Thank you thank you thank you for everything! We will definitely be back!
Our 1st time here and plan to come back and try more of their menus. Took my family here since my husband and I live here in Arlington Heights. Overall ratings covered great customer experience from welcoming smiles from the staff to a great food and drinks to an awesome warmth heart of our waitress :) ... absolutely, recommend this beautiful Irish Restaurant to anyone :) ... keep it up!!!
Great service from the bartender, he frequently cheched on us. Employees greeted everyone with a smile and the atmosphere was laid back and casual. The holiday drink specials seemed unusual when reading the ingredients, but tasted delicious! I'd definitely recommend Peggy's to others.
Always a great place, for live music food and beverage and the staff are excellent.
