Been going here for many years now, back to the time when Eddie and Bonnie owned the place. New owners have maintained many of the food traditions including their fantastic Wednesday and Friday fish fry. Fresh ocean perch breaded very very lightly and fried to perfection. This is an "all you can eat" offering. The price is reasonable considering the "all you can eat" aspect. Other items such as the pulled pork and burgers are very good. Good selection of liquors and beers. Atmosphere is traditional tavern/restaurant. I would recommend this place to anyone. They have other "all you can eat" specials such as fried chicken. Nice people. Sometimes the TV's are up a little loud but you can always ask to lower them. Can't do wrong here.
TACOS!!!!. Taco Tuesdays are outstanding!!! $1.25 tacos that are very good.
Really great dive bar! The staff was super friendly and the drinks are strong. They have some pretty decent food too- I've only tried the chicken soup but I assume everything is pretty good. Would recommend!
The fried ocean perch was awesome and ask for it as a swap on the Reuben sandwich.... AMAZING! The service was timely and kind. We will go back when we're in the area.
Friendly, delicious and welcoming northwestern Chicago tavern and restaurant that is a taste of classic Americana. The tots are top of the line and if I am there at the right time on one of my visits from Colorado, they even a special Habanero sauce they make fresh which I am always keen to add to my ketchup. I was even there imbibing on the night the Cubs won the series in 2016. I am excited for my next visit. Yum! Prost!

Small crowd on Sunday. Served fast at bar, friendly staff, playing sports on all tvs, tasty drink specials from $7-10. $10 burger, $12 entrees. Very attendant AND friendly bartender. The medium burger was served medium, fries were typical. From my just moved from the city perspective, it seems like the place more experienced locals gather at. Ideal for small gatherings. Vaccinated people are not required to wear masks. The place seems generally filled with regulars who know the bartender, which is a great sign
