Very good food and everything is served quickly. Cheesecake was second to none and there were a lot of options. Macaroni and Cheese hamburger was great.
I have loved this place for years. This was a new location for me. Of course the food was great. It does seem like we were maybe placed out of the way because we did have to get the waiters attention but the food was worth it.
It's obvious they have cheesecake. I came here for a sorta whim slash late birthday, lunch. It is crowded and I can see why. Seating is limited and really a place like this shouldn't be concerned about mixed decor. But it works for them.
The service here is or atleast for me was above my expectations. Nice, friendly and most importantly, smiling. You have to smile people, to insure proper service.
The food here pretty good and it should be for what you're paying. Everything tasted fresh and is delicious. I had the peach smoothie and it was damn good. I wish I had taken it to-go.
I can't point out one thing that stood out; this is a four star place to go, what else can I say.
I do say you should read the menu before going in. It's the size of a short novel.
The variety of the menu is awesome food is a bit overpriced but overall experience with this restaurant has always been positive
Worth it!. We almost left when we saw the long lines out the door, but they said 15 minutes so we were very pleased when they called us in 12. Our waitress was perfect - always there just before we needed something but not a pest. The food- incredibly fresh and full of flavor. We always say we're gonna split a dinner since the portions are so large, but we each want something different from that hugely varied menu. We each took half of our meals home and were still stuffed all night.
Just Plain Great (Update: 4/16/14). I have been here for lunch twice and for dinner once over the past two months. My friends and I always enjoy The C.C. Factory because the food is done right no matter what it is. I was here on April 30 and had a cup of their lentil with bacon soup which was excellent. The mingling of the peppery sauce with the lentils was so good. That, along with the bread that they offer each table would have been enough. Their cup of soup is what I would have considered to be a bowl. A BOWL of soup much be humongous! I also had the lunch-size portion of the Chinese Chicken salad, (my favorite) and it didn't fail to please. Someone asked me while I was eating what it was and remarked how delicious it looked. The two dinners that I had were at the CC Factory in Southlake. Service at both restaurants was impeccable. The other entrees that I recently had were the kale salad and a spicy stir fry. Both of these entrees were very good as well. I have not had a bad meal at any time at any of their franchises. I have been dining at the Cheesecake Factory since the mid-90's. I do not normally have their cheesecake although it is delicious. The portion size for their entrees is so large that I usually am not hungry for anything more and I do not like to take food home from restaurants. I think the prices are adequate for the portion sizes. Many of the items, if ordered before 5 p.m. can be had in the lunch-size portion which is a little more affordable and still is plenty. The lunch portion of the Chinese-Chicken salad was $9.95.
(UPDATE- April 16, 2014) Returned today and had the kale salad off the small bites menu. I've had this a couple of times before and it's marvelous. Fresh, sweet, and crunchy with fresh greens, nuts, and chopped apples. It was light and just perfect for those who like variety and want something that is just filling enough for lunch. I then blew it by having a piece of their red velvet cheesecake. This was great if you like red velvet cake. The cheesecake portion was probably half as much as regular with the addition of red velvet cake filling in. Wow this was dynamite!
My friend had the pasta with red sauce and was pleased with it. The lunch portion he had was more than enough for lunch according to him. It looked delicious. He had the Toasted Marshmallow Truffle cheesecake for dessert which he acknowledged with a thumbs up. Cheesecake factory continues to be a great place to go for lunch or dinner. Service is perfection personified.
Yes!. Whatever negatives this restaurant chain has (always crowded, somewhat high priced, always a wait) doesn't matter. The food here is always good, and the desserts are delicious! Fun, lively restaurant for all ages.
Forget the food, go for the desserts!. We finally got to try the legendary Cheesecake Factory!
We had eaten at another restaurant for one diner's birthday and decided to try the Cheesecake Factory for dessert.
We'd been warned a long time ago that the food on the massive menu was terrible, and not to go there for a meal, but for dessert only.
I've got to say, the decor is fabulous! I loved it.
We were seated in a big booth next to a bay window and given menus to make our decisions from.
I had already made my mind up before we even got there to try the Red Velvet cheesecake.
My dining companions all had the Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple.
Oh my GOD, the pieces were huge!
My first taste was pure nirvana. As I worked my way through the slice, I came to the back and announced to the table, "Oh my God, the end is finished in white chocolate!"
"You know you're going to die if you eat that."
"Who cares. What a way to go!"
All three of my dining companions thought their pieces of cake were yummy and totally decadent.
Worth the price for the desserts.
Steer clear of the food.
A place where i can have a grilled cheese AND cheesecake in the same sitting? dreamy. there was one of everything on the menu. i wish arkansas had a cheesecake factory!
Awesome service and food a lil $$$ but u definetly get what u pay for
Always love the food here! Great quality good for the price! Gotta love the avocado eggrolls. The four cheese pasta with chicken is delicious! Save room for a cheesecake dessert! Free cupcake for your birthday!
Some good, some bad. I love the food really, but it's a little overpriced.
And what's with those huge plates, I can never finish an entire meal. If they skimed down on the size they could surely afford to lower the price.
Great cheesecake. Slighty over priced.
What is it that I like about this restaurant? Where do I start! First, starting outside, they have valet parking. That is so important because at a restaurant in the busy downtown area you could be searching for parking all night. Then, when you walk into this place, I love that they have all the desserts right there on display. While you are waiting to be seated, you could also be deciding on what or should I say which cheesecake will be for dessert. After being seated, look around.. This place is so sexy! the atmosphere is to die for.. Especially the outdoor seating.. The menu has something for everybody. My favorite dish would be the grilled pork chops with the mashed potatoes, apple sauce and the green beans or spincah. The dinner salads are unbelievable. You are almost to full to eat a complete meal. Then after all of that... comes dessert!! Nothing like the oreo cheesecake.. Wow! Since I first ate at this place in Marina Del Ray, Ca, I have feel in love so I cannot go anywhere that does not have The Cheesecake Factory as an option! I love it...
What makes Cheesecake Factory a great restaurant chain is the consistent commitment to quality and service. Never had a bad dish at any location. Favorites: grilled shrimp and bacon club. This huge sandwich might be the best I've ever had. Anywhere. Bang bang chicken and shrimp: a very nice curry that is addictive. Memphis cheeseburger: new item and it's killer any cheesecake
Recipe for Success!. The Cheescake Factory has the recipe for success! They have the largest menu of any chain restaurant I have ever seen, and has a menu item for practically every taste. The inside is like you teleported into the middle of the renaisaance with beautiful wall/ceiling murals. The waitstaff is very professional, attentive, friendly. And, the desserts are out of this world. My favorite dish here is the Louisiana Chicken Pasta, which is bow tie pasta with a creamy/ cajun sauce topped with crispy fried chicken. The portion size is overwhelming and can easily be shared. Pumpernickel and Sourdough Bread is served with butter prior to the meal and is another reason this restaurant is so great. See pics...
I can sum up everything about the cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory in one word, Perfect.
