Love this place. Looks messy on the outside from the construction, but inside is a thoughtful shopper's paradise. So many great choices for gifts that make a difference.

Trade Roots is a beautifully organized gift shop and sorely needed in Arlington. It's the perfect place to find birthday, hostess, and holiday gifts -- there is something for everyone. Give yourself some time to browse; there is so much to look at and discover! The people who staff the shop are great, too...friendly and helpful. Trade Roots has been a wonderful gift to the neighborhood!

Very nice neighborhood gem. A little coffee shop, bar, tea house, eatery, and craft shop all in one nice little old building. Nice staff too. Also a nice place to just sit outside and watch traffic and people go by. Will be coming back again…
Specialty coffee and homely ambience. The clocks in seating area are delightful. Wish the cappuccinos were a bit larger.
This place is great. It's a refreshing change from chain store junk. Nice, unique crafts.
So glad I found this store! Great selection. I got a range of items: socks, carved salad tongs, candles, chocolate and earrings. I received my items promptly and I was happy with everything (sometimes hard to tell online).
I actually bought my items about a month ago. Knowing that I have helped artisans from other countries still makes me feel good.
Will definitely shop here again!
