Let's be clear from the start, I went to bueno because I was craving something in particular. Had to get those beef nachos and the Mrs. needed a cheese fix. Bueno delivered on all counts! It was good, I even took photos to share this amazingness.
Food was great, but I waited about 15-20 minutes for my to-go order inside the empty dining room. I assume they prioritize the drive thru since I watched them fill several orders for the window. It wasn't until I asked for an ETA or a refund that they started on my order which included 2 items. They didn't even respond to my inquiry! I blame this on poor management, but it might explain why so many other locations have closed. I hope they make it because I've been going to this location for 30 years since my parents took us there when we were kids, back when they had a huge fireplace, and a fresh salsa bar. 😕
This location is always amazing. My order is never wrong and the staff is very nice. I literally avoid the Pioneer Pwky location and come here. The food is always good too, with properly made burritos. You know how sometimes, a location may make a puny one and the next it's okay? This place is always consistent. 👌
Young lady at drive through is always so friendly. Food is great. Firehouse salsa was extra good on Thursday.
I haven't eaten at a Taco Bueno since I was a kid but I was in town visiting my dad for the holidays and he bought us lunch here. Let me tell you, that first bite of my burrito brought back so many childhood memories! I instantly remembered the taste and it was just as good today as it was back then. I would definitely recommend trying Taco Bueno if you've never eaten there.
