Tried this place for the first time. They have a great variety of Japanese cuisine items. Had their chicken katsu box (pictured). However, their sushi selection is low variety. They didn't even have octopus (Tako), which is usually very standard on any sushi menu.
I also ordered smoked salmon nigiri and yellowtail roll (pictured). The smoked salmon barely had any smoke flavor but was good. There was barely any meat in my yellowtail roll and even though the rice easily broke apart and the rolls fell apart easy, it still tasted good. I was disappointed with the chinsy amount of meat in my roll.
I recommend this place to those looking to experience Japanese cuisine or to those wanting to try sushi or are new to sushi. For advanced sushi lovers looking for a bigger variety of sushi options, then this is not the place for you.
I've been coming here for over a year and every single pick-up order I've gotten has been incredibly delicious! In comparison to other sushi restaurants near me, they serve impressive portions. Customer service is always prompt and exceptional! Thank you for always providing me with a delightful experience!
Awesome hidden Japanese spot. I usually order sashimi and it was very good here. You get what you pay for and I like coming here when Im looking to get some good sushi. Would recommend.
Had California roll. Love the fact they use non dyed ginger. Good quality roll with fast service. Perfect take out spot - not a place you probably want to plop down and sit for awhile but the people are incredibly nice, speedy and friendly. Also ordered miso soup and shrimp tempura roll. Wish there was an online menu. Closes fairly early. Will go again!!
We've been to quite a few local sushi restaurants and I can say without a doubt our meal here was one of the best. Each specialty roll we order was crafted with purpose and not haste. Each type of meat on top and inside was tender and fresh! Not pictured was an order of the Nigiri, which was a generous serving and tasted fantastic.
Service was excellent - very friendly! Enjoyable peaceful atmosphere and music. We got fried dumplings, an ocean roll, and the spicy Korean ramyun. Sushi was average-good but seemed to lack a bit of flavor from the fish. The dumplings and ramyun were fantastic and definitely better value for money.
If you want sushi it's worth trying, but give their other dishes a try too!
A total hidden gem! The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the poke bowl was amazing. The owner was super friendly! Yum!
